I spent more time detangling the extremely thin cord (spaghetti thin), than actually using the ear plugs; chucked them away...what a waste of my money. I usually read reviews before making purchases, however, I was in a hurry (MY FAULT) and allowed myself to run w/ a brand such as SONY, with a good reputation in electronics. THAT will never happen again.

Terrible: keys stop working within 1st 24 hours

My sister purchased the same laptop in May 2014 (w/ out a replacement plan) for my 71 year old mother (w/ early stages of Alzheimer), who mainly uses the laptop in a tremendous effort to continue to manage her own financial affairs, such as paying her bills via Online Bill pay. Shortly after purchasing the Toshiba laptop, the keys failed. My sister began to place blame on my mom, which made her feel extremely terrible. My sister then took the laptop to be repaired and paid $75. Although, the issue returned in November, I went to Best Buy and not realizing it was the exact same Toshiba, purchased it along with the Triple Pkg (svc plan). Within 24 hours the same issue, (keys not working) with the original laptop, began. I am will be mailing the original laptop to Toshiba for repairs with the 1 year warranty for resolution. I do not reside in the same state as my mother, so it's been difficult to get the situation resolved at a distance.
