This is actually the 2nd one I bought, so I guess I should have known better. I had hoped that it might have been my error that caused this thing to stop working, but it's really the construction of the controller.
A wire is a wire. The connection WAS tight when I first bought it, but after removing the cord several times, it started to need "some touch" to get it to stay charging. If I was using the cord while playing, it would lose connection.
The problem is, the cord has a counterweight (that little black barrel) but all it does is put stress on the connection. Also, the controller as designed, if you rest it flat, will "lean" on the connection, putting stress on it and possibly bending it. So, to leave it charging, or if you have to walk away for a moment, you would have to leave the controller upside down. I have no idea what Microsoft was thinking with this design, but because of the position of the counterweight, I have to put partial blame on the cord design as well.
Another controller company figured a way around this by encasing where the connection is made, and having cords plug in upside-down (wide on top) which seems to have solved this issue, but you cannot achieve that with a regular Microsoft controller.
So, take this review with a grain of salt in regards to the cord itself. If you used this cord with a different device, it would be fine. But if you plan on using it as intended, it's garbage.

It's a memory stick. You really can't mess this up. The only criticism I have is that it's probably going to break sooner than I'd like, but that's more a result of how my PC is set up. I've bent it several times, as I have top USBs instead of front (terrible choice) and have banged it into the desk a couple times.

I bought this and the PDP AG9 Wireless Headset (also sold here) and there is a conflict with the products where, if the headset USB is plugged in, the Afterglow Wired Controller will not turn on the Xbox One using the Xbox Button. I reported the issue to them and actually troubleshooted it for them in order to isolate the issue. I haven't heard anything back. I've returned the headset and the controller as a result.

Cheap, and it shows

I mean, it has absolutely no structure to it. I just connected it and tossed it into the area where I keep my loose wires. It's essentially like a hard-wired thumb drive, as far as the materials and weight go, so it's easy to toss in and out of a PC.
That said, it has also lost data on several occasions and seems to stutter sometimes, especially when downloading bigger files. On reboot, I had to repair Windows several times. As my primary hard drive, it makes me nervous that I've had it crash on me several times.
I recently purchased a new rig, and though it hasn't crashed yet, I still get those long, random spikes so I'm still not fully trusting it.
In my opinion, if this is going to be anything more than a place to store your music or something, to get a higher quality drive. This is almost a toy. I will replace it soon.

Nope. The PS4 doesn't support external hard drives. You can modify the PS4 in order to use this hard drive, but it is not a plug and play hard drive for the PS4 (as nothing is.) It DOES work for the PS3, and the Xbox One.

It functions like an Android device, and the tv has been able to read everything I've offered so far via USB. As far as I can tell, if you can do it on your phone or tablet (minus a few apps but generically speaking) then you can do it on this TV.

i want to hookup my analog stereo receiver. I have to use the head phone jacks? How do I change the audio out to variable and not fixed? My old setup let me control the volume from the tv or cable co. remote. I set the volume on the receiver half way and than used the remote from the cable co. to adjust the volume. Can I do the same thing on this set?
There is a way to set it so that it switches to external audio, which would allow you to change the volume with your other remote. It's in the advanced audio settings, I believe.
As far as which remote controls volume, that's up to you. Once you set it to external audio, the volume control for the TV no longer functions as the TV itself is muted. So you'd have to use the remote for your receiver to adjust the volume (or a multi-device remote like the ones cable companies provide.)

how do you set the tv control to work with a comcast cable box?
have a sony bravia 49 inch 4k ultra hd ...
All you do is connect them with an HDMI cable and then select the correct input. The connections are in the back and on the left side, if you're facing the TV.

TV has a Opera Browser or not?
It has the option to download the Opera TV Browser from the limited apps that function on it. I'm not sure what the difference is between the PC version and the TV version, but it's there.
