I bought this for my desk. Although I have air conditioning sometimes my corner of the room gets very hot with my computer running and things. I have to say, the fan works great. It keeps me cool and has to different speed settings on it. It's not dead quiet but also not too noisy.
Only con, I wish it had more adjustable positions. I wish I could point it down a bit more as it seems to blast in my eyes.

I bought this because I have severe allergies and my home office gets filthy with dust with a pet in the house. I would have to say this is a GOOD air cleaner. It does collect a lot of dust and there is a slight but noticeable improvement in the amount of dust in my room now versus before I had it. I do feel like I breath ever so slightly better which is a huge plus.

- Check filter light is nice and it's easy to clean
