I bought it merely to display time in my AV entertainment suite because there's no where to put a regular wall clock that's easily visible in a darkened room, and none that are backlit. So this tucks neatly into one of the shelves, is easily seen from across the room, and isn't too bright as to drown out movie viewing or continuously distract your eyes from the screen. Perfect for what I wanted.

If you've liked all the MGS iterations to this point, no reason to believe you won't also like this one. For me I expected more "wow" I guess. Then again I haven't completed the game so that may yet come. MGS games are always ones I buy without worry and I never read reviews first, that's how good they are. The Phantom Pain was good but very short to complete the whole game. I hope this one goes deeper. The renderings are great, detail superb, and I haven't run into any glitches.
iPad® mini 2 has a stunning 7.9-inch Retina display with over 3.1 million pixels. It also comes with the A7 chip with 64-bit architecture, ultrafast wireless, iSight and FaceTime HD cameras, powerful apps, and up to 10 hours of battery life.1 Yet it still fits easily in one hand.
I was on the fence as to whether I NEEDED an iPad at all, since I have an iPhone. But what I found is that they are quite compatible, symbiotic even. The larger screen compared to the iPhone for reading, surfing the web, or watching videos is so much larger and now my iPhone battery lasts longer because I can rely on it for using it as, well... a phone. The iPad is fast and the screen resolution is superb. It's not a PC and it's not a laptop, but for what it is I think it sits at or near the top of the class. As with all Apple products, I do find them to be a bit heavy on the pricing, but not so disproportionate to quality or value that I won't exclude them from consideration. I would also love to see them one day add a port to allow us to add memory cards. I understand their philosophy... and then again, I don't.
