As others have said, after letting it do all the updates and removing the bloatware (especially the anti-virus), it runs well. It's not as fast as a powerful desktop with it's 8 gigs of ram, but OK. What I really like is the display, the lighted keyboard, and the slim size. I'm using the .img file supplied by an earlier reviewer which gives it natural colors. I paid $500: if I paid full bore I may not be as pleased. I replaced an 11 year old Vista laptop with 3 gigs and 2 processors, so that's my laptop comparison. But I do have a screaming desktop, and this isn't far behind.

I was looking for a smaller Bluetooth mouse with side buttons. This one connects immediately and stays connected. It reads any surface smoothly except clear glass. It comes with a receiver in the battery compartment for the second computer to use with the flow software or to use it with two computers at once. I haven't used that feature yet but it looks handy. The one thing I do miss is the "Smart Move" function of the old Mouseware.

Good printer, poor documentation

This prints excellent documents and photos, however the instructions are scant. As part of the setup you lift up the front panel, but how do you put it down again? Pushing on it feels like it will break. I emailed Canon support and they said it's closed manually, so I did. It works, but some usage instructions would have saved a lot of frustration.

I got this to replace a Roku 1, the slowest thing on the video stream. It took a minute plus to reboot, which was required at least daily. I have two of the 2016 Roku Sticks on other TVs which are great for something smaller (I would recommend those as well) but this Premiere has a better picture due to more processing power. That also makes switching between channels very quick. One reason I got this model is that it has an IR receiver on the front so it can also be used with a universal remote. I had a hard time finding out if it did before ordering, so there it is. The only problem I had was with the headphones initially which turned out to be a little film of something in the jack. Working the plug a little cleaned it off and it works great.

I had an older low end Linksys that I constantly had to reboot and the best speed test I could get was 75 M/S (I'm supposed to have 100 M/S). With this router I get 118 M/S on my wired desktop. The three wireless bands are nice to distribute the load. The range however isn't much better than my old one. Setup was easy and the phone app is great. Overall, A big step up.

We have had an older Roku 2 XS for several years and have been happy with it. We bought this SE for use with a second TV and it has occasional digital artifacts in the picture. It appears to have a slower processor and less memory. If you want a perfect picture all the time, go for a Roku 3 or better. On the positive side, this has an infrared remote so it can be used with a universal remote whereas the Roku 3 and 4 models use bluetooth.

Good picture, apps too slow

This TV has a good picture but the response on the apps is very slow. Netflix sometimes has no sound when you resume playback after pausing a title and the web browser is dial-up slow. These problems are probably related to a slow processor and limited memory. If you are planning on using it primarily in SMART mode you might want to spring for higher model. I got it for $450.00 so I can't complain too much.

I have a ranch house with a walkout basement I have 1300 sq. feet would this router work if if put it on the first floor. I would like to also know if it would work for my equipment in the finish basement.

Can you stream off of an Iphone onto the Roku SE?
I just purchased the Roku SE for my mother. I haven't received it yet, however, I am wondering if I can stream apps off of an IPhone onto the Roku SE. My mother loves Chinese Cantonese shows and I found an app where she can watch shows. I just want to know if it will stream it onto the TV like an Apple TV. Thanks!
