I was replacing a cheaper surge protector after buying too many electronics. This thing is awesome. Outlets are spread out so big plugs still just take one space, and the USB chargers are super clutch. I think i was more excited about this than one should be when regarding a surge protector.

I bought 2 for myself, and this one for my parents. They are a great intro into multi room wifi without replacing my existing speakers. Overall, sound is great. I do get occasional drops in connection or some times I just have trouble connecting, but most of the time it is great. No more killing my battery with bluetooth, loosing music when I make a call or any of the downfalls of traditional speakers. The multi -room works great, and set up is easy. Just keep in mind you need a paid account to use it with spotify.

Great $100 Bluetooth Headphones

Bluetooth headphones are a total game changer. They are easier to use, to wear, and they stay in my ears better. I got used to pairing them quickly (turn on the bluetooth on your phone before turning on the headphones, and they automatically connect) and I usually use them for half an hour or so at a time so I havent had battery issues with my phone or the headphones (my biggest fear in adapting). The audio quality is what I would expect from $50-60 wired headphones. Its really good, but a chuck of the money went into wireless so dont expect them to be the same as $100 wired.

What are the biggest advantages of using the Chromecast
This essentially makes your existing speakers into a sonos type system. Unlike bluetooth speakers, this does not kill your battery, or shut off when you get a call and it will let you listen to the same music in multiple rooms if you have multiple chromecast audio. Just make sure it is compatible with your choice music app first (I use spotify, and need a paid account to use chromecast audio).
