I bought this for my wife and she likes the look of it, but that's about it.
The case is plastic and is slippery. The buttons are also really hard to press down on, especially the volume buttons.

It's ok but I like NBA2K15 better

I didn't play last years version, so I can't compare. I have both basketball games this year and even with NBA2K15's server problems and some other small annoyances, it's still the best bball sim.

Pros - The close up graphics are pretty good. Defense and close shots are better than 2K. Also the ability to accessorize your player in Jordan Rising Star is a plus, compared to 2K with it's VC purchases and dealing with Jackson Ellis.
Cons - Player movement is very cartoonish. They don't move like a normal person would.
Game modes are very bland and not in depth enough for me, like 2K is.
Camera angles. I use baseline low, because it's similar to 2K, but I personally don't like it or any other angle option. I guess I'm used to the 2K view angle.

People should download the demo to see if they like it. My review seems to advocate 2K, and that might be true, but if you want a bball sim game. Look elsewhere.

Great except for one small flaw

This is a great system. The graphics are great and the white color is nice.
Destiny game is ok. Not a big fan of these types of shooters, but the kids love it. I'm more of a sports kind of gamer.
The revamped system interface is a welcome change. Much better than the old PS3 look and easier to navigate.
The only bad thing about this is the battery life on the controller. I really wish they had a battery pack, similar to the xbox 360 controllers.
I have to plug this in pretty much every night, so I don't run out of juice during a gaming marathon.
Overall it's a great system and I'm glad I chose this over the Xbone.

I haven't played Madden for the past 5+ years. I only bought this because I got a new PS4 and wanted to bide my time before the release of NBA2K15.
Overall the game is good, but the interface and the whole connected franchise mode is too cluttered for my taste.
That goes for the NFL draft too. The way it's set up is way to cumbersome.
The game play is pretty much the same as previous versions, which is a good thing and a bad thing.

Great upgrade from an Evo 4g

I've had the past two versions of the Evo line, so I figured why stop? I had the Evo 4g for two years and by the last 9 months, I was hating it. It was slow, unresponsive, and the battery always got hot.
I actually considered going to an S4 or the LG G2 because of my past HTC experience, but after comparing the three and reading early reviews. I decided to stick with HTC and upgrade to this.

Performance is fast and the display is responsive.
Camera is good and I am liking the different effects, especially the ufocus. Shutter speed is amazing and there is no shutter sound when I take pictures!!!
Battery life is a lot better than the Evo 4g. I'm not a heavy user, but use it to text, email, and surf (< 1 hour a day) and it will give me about 60-70% by 5pm
Speakers. The front facing speakers sound great compared to other phone speakers, but nothing that will blow you away.
Performance is fast and the display is responsive.
