I bought this dishwasher initially as part of a 3 appliance package sale deal and as an open box. I typically have no issues with open box items and spoke with the salesman who pulled the inventory tag and relayed that there was no missing parts or damage issues. Once I got the unit home it was missing parts, which best buy replaced for me. Upon full unpacking when I went to install I noticed that it had been dropped or something and the top was caved in. Best Buy did take it back, I guess be more careful of open box, but usually I don't have any issues with them from Best Buy.

I needed a new range to replace a 20+ old one that the gas oven finally went out on. It was between this or a Samsung unit based on features that I wanted. I ended up choosing this one, as it had everything that I wanted plus it came up on sale with a better price. The burners on top are amazing especially the center burner. I own a lot of Lodge cast iron cookware and the center works perfectly for my grill/griddle. The convection oven has made baking enjoyable and the flip up top pot rests make cleaning up after cooking a cinch.

Great Refrigerator

Needed a new refrigerator to replace my current 20+ year old one. In looking at the reviews it came down to this or Samsung due to features on a range that I wanted. I noticed that customers have complained about the ice maker being loud. I can hear the ice maker when it comes on, but it is extremely quiet and only for 10 seconds max while the tray dumps and refills. Overall I am extremely happy with my purchase, love the increased storage over my old one. I decided to not go with any indoor water/ice since I have already installed a water filtration system at my sink and plumbed this fridge into it, also I didn't want to loose any fridge space on top.

WHAT SIZE SINK DO YOU NEED WASH GRATE? HOW DIFFICULT/ EASY IS IT TO UNHINGE IT? CAN IT FIT IN A STANDARD SIZE DISHWASHER LAYING FLAT? DYO
As an owner of this, I have a standard 30" double basin sink and I can wash the grates in them just fine. The grates hinge up and then you can slide them off for easy removal. Both grates would fit in the dishwasher either standing up or flat depending on your top rack and washer height.

Am replacing a downdraft with hookups, is this range appropriate?
I am a licensed CA Contractor and have installed this range, along with numerous others and downdrafts. It will depend on what type of downdraft you have. If your model is a cooktop with an integrated downdraft similar to Jenn-Air this will not be a direct replacement and you will need to add either a range hood or separate downdraft system. This is a slide in range, though I haven't installed this with a downdraft, this unit would work with a separate downdraft system provided that the blower unit for the downdraft wouldn't interfere with the installation of the range.
