It is translucent. So yes when the computer is on, you can see the logo.

Why is my new Frigidaire (rec''d as gift on 5/9/15) spitting out crushed ice when I push the cube button?
Crushed ice spits out when we push the cube button.
It just happens it's not a problem with the refrigerator. The way the mechanism works sometimes ice cubes get trapped in the gear that pushes the cubes out causing it to crush. Same thing happens on my refrigerator.

Are there flat screen TV's where the far left and far right portion of the picture do not drop off the screen?
This is most likely the result of you not matching the zoom setting of your cable box to the tv. Every tv is different. Some tvs you need the wide setting, where as others function on the normal setting. The tv takes the incoming picture of your set top and displays it. The zoom settings on the tv adjust the image to better fit your screen if necessary.

Digital DVD Storage
How can I store DVD's on a hard drive, then play them on my TV? I have over 500 DVD's and they take up a lot of space. I want to rip them into movie files and be able to play them back through my TV. How can I do this?
You can do that in a variety of ways. The easiest that comes to mind is using a DVD ripping/back up program to copy your DVDs onto a hard drive. Then convert them into viewable video files (.mov, .asf, etc) then connect your computer to your tv using the Tvs VGA port. Your tv is now your monitor. You can find this software on the web.
There are other ways to do this, this is just one.
Remember, to read the FBI warning about copying DVDs. I do not recommend violating copyright laws.
