Great image quality

In terms of image quality when comparing the colors to my iMac colors are a little more washed out and not as accurate. When not looking at it side by side with the better screen in the iMac the image quality is not bad so I'd say overall that this is of acceptable quality for the price. Plus with patience the settings can be adjusted to make it closer.
The display is sharp responsive. I'm not witnessing any backlight bleeding on the corners or bottom edge.
This display is a 60Hz monitor which makes it easier to drive the monitor but even with a 5930K and a GTX 1080 I can't get to max settings 60 frames per second (FPS) at 4K on games like Witcher 3. I can get get in the range of 40 to 58 FPS. I mention this only to set the expectation that if you buy this monitor you will need very fast graphics cards. I find myself thinking I will need a second GTX 1080 to hit max settings at 4K at 60FPS.
If you don't have as beefy of a gaming machine this monitor does still look very nice at 1440P for gaming and two GTX 970 cards in SLI do a very nice job at that resolution.

Freaking Amazing!

My boyfriend plays Call of Duty on Xbox One. We where using a Apple Airport Extreme router but for what ever reason the Xbox One and Airport Extreme where conflicting and resulted in a Strict network environment which was effecting Xbox Live.
So we got this router which out of the box works better with the console.
Where this router really shines is the range of the WIFI is amazingly good and it can handle numerous devices connected at once. The only thing left is for Comcast to get off their lazy butts and offer faster internet or for Verizon to get FIOS out here.
If you are fortunate enough to have internet fast internet this router is capable of handling routing the data at blistering speeds to the different devices. This allows for multiple streams of 4K video simultaneously and playing an online game without degradation of the experience for any of them.

It isn't the fastest SSD out there but at a certain point the speed becomes indiscernible. The performance to dollar ratio very nice on this drive. Plus two of them in RAID 0 is still very fast.

The laptop is faster then my 2012 Mac Mini 2.2GHz Core i7 in single threaded processes but slower in multithreaded processes. In general use case the speed difference is not noticeable.
The display is a joy to use. The speakers sound very nice. The keyboard is great as always with MacBooks. The new track pad is a worthy upgrade over the previous trackpad that's previously the best track pad on the market.
The battery life is fantastic when not playing games. I was able to play Civilization 5 on battery for a hair over 1 hour from a full charge which is pretty decent.
This is in my opinion the ultimate ultra book.

We upgraded from a 2012 Mac Mini 2.5GHz i5

We upgraded from a 2012 Mac Mini with a Core i5 @ 2.5GHz. The difference is night and day.
The display is huge and beautiful. The space this machine takes up on the desk is on par with the Mac Mini and it's monitor.
The drive is a 1TB fusion drive. For those that don't know what a Fusion drive is it is a 128GB SSD and a 1TB drive installed in the computer. Software in OS X treats it like one drive. It is a big step up from 500GB 5400 RPM.
This iMac has a graphics chip in it. It has improved our usage of the machine to play games and work with iMovie.
Overall we are very impressed with this machine. I would buy another one just like this if I was in the market for it.

This cooler can keep my Core i7-5930K below 80C at full load even when over locked to 4.7GHz. What's more the noise level at full load is not super loud. It is noticeable like a hum but not like a whiny little fan. When not at full load the cooler is nearly silent.

Apple why do I have to choose?

Why is it that I have to choose between a wired keyboard with a numpad and full directional keys and a Bluetooth keyboard? In addition why no backlit keys like on the MacBook?
Really what I want is a full size keyboard like this wired keyboard that is Bluetooth and has backlit keys like the MacBook. Also since Apple likes to provide color choices I would like the option of buying the keyboard with black keys.
As for this keyboard it is ok. the USB on the keyboard is still 2.0. I would suggest a cover for it since the keys are white and will turn nasty looking very fast. The wire is very cheaply made. Be very careful not to bend it or contort it or the stress relief (lol if you can call it that) will fail and the wire will be exposed. It is the same horrible design they use on the MacBook power supplies.
I selected no for recommending to a friend because since this keyboard is so horribly out of date anyways one of the older keyboards from the previous generation would probably be a better choice. They will hold up better. They have a better USB wire coming out of them and they don't look grimy after a few weeks of use.

I only wish that it would provide a little bit of automation. I would like for it to be able to turn off on it's own and when power starts coming to it from the USB I wish it would automatically start up.
Beyond that the device does work. It seems to be built rather cheap but the device costs less then $50 so I didn't expect much. It does a good job and sounds ok. The USB cable that it comes with is very short but it isn't the end of the world. I ended up using one of the charging cables that came with my older galaxy phone.
