This sensor has worked as needed for several months now. I added this to my current smart home setup and it has been working without any issues until the battery died. The battery gave out a little sooner than expected but not a huge issue till I realized that it uses a different battery type than the original model. A little annoying but all in all it works as it should.

This chime was the perfect accessory for my set up. You don't always need answer your Ring alert on your mobile device. You can plug in this chime to any outlet and connect to your home's network via wifi. I could not hear my home's doorbell in a section of my home and this was just the device I needed.
