Good quality but with less iPhone responsiveness

I recently purchase this for my iPhone 6. I like the case with clip and it feels a quality product. I also like how the covers for the ports (charging and earphone) and the mute area are properly covered. The buttons such as the volume and power buttons are easy to push and is immediately recognized by the phone
What I find challenging, is a gap between the phone's screen and the case's screen protector. Having this gap, required me to put more force when typing on my phone for it to appear on the screen
Another issue I have with it is that it is a challenge to open the shortcut panel where the bluetooth, wifi, airplane mode, flashlight, etc. is displayed probably in part due to the gap and at the same time due to the plastic cover design at the bottom part of the screen
I would still recommend this case to a friend due to the quality of the product. Searching the web, work around for the issue with the gap between the phone's screen and the case's screen protector is to remove the screen protector. Though I haven't remove it, it is one option to solve the gap issue

Excellent but beware of the odor this product has

The MM300 is a great product and allows me to put both my keyboard and mouse on top of it. Though rolled in a box when bought, the said mat lays flat when used. The design is great which I believe will hide wear and tear after using it for years to come.
My only issue is the strong smell this product has. I have sensitive smell which is why I could smell the mat's odor when working. Since I use my mouse on top of it, the smell sticks in my hand for a few minutes after using the mouse as well
