What are the differences between Rokus 1,2,3 players and AppleTV player besides the fact of begin able to have iTunes?

My camera is a Nikon1, I accidentally deleted my photos, how can I get them back, I need to download them to my Apple laptop. Is there any service at Bestbuy to help me?
Don't think there's a easy way. Find a professional company and they will be able to recover these for you.
There's some software a you can buy but I didn't tested any.
