This iPad makes a great gift for folks that are on a budget. It's essentially iPad 2 internals with the Mini shell, no retina display or upgraded processor. If you want to bump it up a notch, seek the iPad Mini 2 or if you have money to throw away then seek the iPad Mini 3. Otherwise, this outdated Mini will do the trick as a gift or for kids!

I own both the iPad Air and the Air 2 and feel that there is no real world difference between the 2. The Air 2 does have a slight vibration imminating from the rear when the volume is turned up but its a coin toss whether you like it or not. As far as the Air 1 goes, I would prefer it over the 2 if you don't care for the touch ID as you can get the 32GB cheaper then the 16GB Air 2 and have twice the space!

Bought this for my mother and she loves it. She was in need of a device that was more portable then her iPad Mini to use in her car for music..well..this did the trick. If it were I, I would pick up an iPad Mini for approx the same price, and use it as a music player. Plus you get the extra screen real estate on the Mini to boot!! To each their own!

This galaxy tablet is an excellent tablet / tool for that youngster in your life. The tablet isn't on par as far as speed / processing goes with other tablets, I guess being a dual-boot system? What's nice about it that it came with a nice rubber case to prevent from scratching. As many times I've seen it fall, that was nice of Samsung to include it. Unit still looks the same as the day I took it out of the box. Thank you Samsung!!
