Works, but its not easy

The GPS gives good directions, once it actually accepts my input, but that isn't easy to accomplish. Takes several tries, no matter how careful I am about keying it in. The buttons to use the radio and the CD player are very small, not clearly marked, but work well once you find the right one. The downloaded instructions are hard to follow, I guess they assume I know more than I do. I think the device is trying to be all things to all users, including telephone and Bluetooth and who knows what else, it is all too much in too small a space when you are trying to drive in traffic at the same time.

Disappointment, frustration

This printer was on sale, and I found out why. Although I followed the set-up instructions carefully (I have always before been able to set up printer myself), connected to the LAN successfully, I could not get the printer to come on line. I finally had to get the GEEK Squad to come set it up, which more than wiped out the sale savings. Now, it is very slow to begin, slow to turn off, and I have still not figured out how to print photographs. It is the first Canon product I have ever had, and will probably be my last.

I had the GPS installed at Best Buy, then I downloaded the user manual from the web site, but the instructions are hard to understand. I think they assume I know things I don't know -- I need things like "Press this button and hold for so long, choose from options, confirm by pressing this button", etc. I don't think I have yet fully gotten control, even though I have spent 4-5 half-hour sessions trying to follow the instructions. I am obviously not intuitive enough about tech things.
