Bought this thinking I can use my old Tritton headphones I used on my PS3, but was unable to (at least for chat). After much research it turns out the adapter for Tritton's will not plug into this one.
My Apple earbuds would not work with this either, again the mic portion.
Finally found a set of earbuds with a mic1 adapter and works perfectly with this adapter. Nice that I can lower the game sound so I can use this headset only for chat and my Tritton's plug into the optical jack on the Xbox One.

Excellent Universal remote

I really love this remote. It has a lot of versatility and when it adds a component it picks up most of the commands needed. In fact too many, as I needed to remove some, but that is part of the customization.
It does take a bit of work to initially set up, but once it's done it's great to use. I was especially concerned with my wife using as she doesn't like change when it comes to technology, but even she admitted it's really easy to use.
I would have give it 5 stars except for the difficulty setting up the hub. I have 2 wireless networks in my house (guest and mine) and it's supposed to just connect, but not sure it really did. I never saw it listed in my connected wifi devices on my router settings. I'm a highly skilled IT professional and this caused me some headaches. The solution was to setup with a computer and the software with the hub connected via USB. That really should be what they say in the directions to do.
The other issue is that you can setup certain functions when using the computer software that you can't using the mobile app and vice versa. Also, you may need to edit things directly on the remote as well. I'd rather be able to do everything from either the mobile app or software.
Overall though I am very happy with the remote.
It's also great that the remote doesn't have to be line-of-sight for IR devices.
I'm also hoping that some future update will allow you to program the remote to put an Apple TV to sleep. This could also just be an issue with getting into coding Apple does, so not entirely a Logitech issue I'm sure.
