I purchased the Tile for my elderly mother who kept misplacing her house and car keys. I was hoping it would help locate them in the house. It does not do much good in that way. You would be able to find-out if the keys are in the house, but where in the house, you won't know. That is still very useful to make sure you have not left the item you are looking for somewhere else, maybe at the store or friends house, etc. I also like the ability to find the phone the app is installed on, by using the button on the Tile. But that feature only seems to work if the app is left open and if you close it on the phone, it does not do anything. Overall, this could be useful, but how useful depends on your expectations.

I have a bunch of wireless routers at home - well, they are all disconnected and in my garage. The Linksys Velop is now my only wireless system. They work great since I don't have to change the wireless network when I move around the house. I moved from a single wireless router, to two routers one acting as an extender, to Velop, and I am very happy with this purchase. Wireless speed is amazingly fast, and the setup is super easy. The app is good too, and now Linksys has also added browser configuration which makes it even easier to configure or check status, etc. I was constantly hearing complains from kids and wife about Internet connectivity issues before Velop, but now everyone is happy and there are zero complains - that makes these expensive wireless system well worth the price! :-)

Great noise canceling, good sound

The noise canceling on the Bose QuietComfort 35 II is great - but that is expected for Bose headphones after years of developing noise canceling technology. I contemplated going with the Sony 1000x, but I read that Bose is more comfortable. I could not tell any difference when I tried both on in the store, but that could be true. The Bose sound is good - it is far from best headphones out there, but I bought it for travels and not audiophile music listening at home, so I am happy with my purchase. It is pretty comfortable to wear for 2-3 hours of listening on the plane but after that I have to give my ears and head a break since it would start to feel heavy. Overall I recommend this headphones for travelers.

I've had the Withings Smart Body Analyzer for almost 10 months. Being that this is a connected device, I thought by now they would have fixed some of the issues with it, but while they may have done remote software upgrades to it (I doubt that, since I have not received any notifications stating they have), it still has the same issues as when I bought it. Let's separate the app from the scale itself:
The App:
It is an okay, but not very useful app. It is also hard to navigate around. Setting-up the device for multiple people, such that each person can only see their own weight and information and not the others was much more complicated than it should have and took a few test and trials. The app has been updated a few times, but the changes are small and nothing to write home about. I would think Withings would want to take advantage of their app to differentiate, especially since there are a few much larger companies offering similar products in this space. Good news is that the app does work okay for the basics: you can check your weight, steps (if using Apple watch), heart rate (why?), etc. and check your progress over a period of time.

The scale definitely needs more improvements than the app. It seems to always be confused as to who is using it (this seems to have gotten worse as it gets older), and asks each time who is weighting themselves. Keep in mind, I only configured 2 people, not 10 people! 5 times out of 10 it can't measure the heart beat and fails when trying. And the weight can change by a good amount depending on where you stand on the device. It does guide you to move your feet so you are centered better, but even then, I get different weights if I move my feet slightly. I've never had this issue with other standard electronic scales. One thing that seems to be working okay is the connectivity to the Internet and sending the information to the cloud/app. I have not had any issues with those as some others have.

Good sound quality, but not very secure in ears

I've had this product for a few months, and overall like it. The sound quality is better than a few other Bluetooth headphones I tested in stores, but not as good as some wired in-ear headphones I use (Shure, Klipsch, Panasonic). But I am satisfied with the sound quality since these are mainly used for sports (running). Once in a while, the sound glitches due to some bluetooth connectivity issue. If that happens, I just stop and start the bluetooth on my iPhone and the problem goes away. This has only happened maybe once or twice in many months, so by no means is a big problem as some others have stated. My only complain is that they don't stay well in my ears. I have tried all the included ear tips. The foam ones made by Comply worked the best, but did not last long - only a couple of weeks before they started to rip apart! I went to Comply's web site and ordered a whole set of different shape tips specifically made for the Jaybird X2, and so far these have lasted. But the Jaybird earbuds still get loose and start to fall-out after a few minutes of running, and I find myself always playing with them while running, trying to get them to stay longer. If this was not the case, I would give these 5 stars. Ear fit is a personal thing and different for each person, and I am sure these would fit well and stay better for some people. So your experience may be different. Based on that I would recommend these, especially now that the price has dropped since I bought them.

I've had the Rachio 16 zone, 2nd generation Smart Sprinkler Controller for a few weeks now. It is working as advertised and I am a happy customer so far.
My needs were simple. I wanted to be able to turn-on any sprinkler on any specific zone manually from time-to-time in addition to having the regular weekly schedule, and I also wanted to know that the sprinklers came-on when they were supposed to as scheduled.
I was also hoping to be able to clearly label every station in the app so I don't always have to look for my cheat sheet when I was working in the backyard.
Well, Rachio does all that and many other things and so far has done a great job. I like the reports and notifications, and I like being able to manually turn any of the stations on from any where.
Physical installation of Rachio was super easy. It took me longer to remove the old controller and document all the stations! Getting the app configured and scheduling all the stations was also super easy. The recommendations on the length of time to water each station needed changes as the app was suggesting very long duration for some stations, and not enough for others. But that is probably because I did not pick the exact right type of soil, plant, sprinkler type, etc. So most likely not the fault of the app.
Next step is to add a few rain sensors and maybe some day when we actually get rain in California will know if they work! :-)
