I have had a Dyson for 4 years and have never been impressed with it's inability to get deep into the carpet and pick-up dog hair, though it is good at getting the roller brush constantly bound-up. The Shark was EXCELLENT at cleaning the carpets...I was amazed! It came with 3 or 4 attachments...Dyson has one. The Dyson excelled at one thing...being able to use the telescoping handle to clean without bending over. The Shark has plenty of hose, but nowhere near a long enough wand/handle to not have to bend to use it on the floor. I was able to get the Shark on major sale and use some BB certificates. I paid under $115 out the door. Try getting any type of Dyson for that price...even one that doesn't work!

I got this the day before Black Friday for $249!!! Price was $150 below a similar Dell at Walmart. This computer I think is now retailing at BB for approx $379. Again, excellent price on an Pentium I3, 500 GB hard-drive,, 4 GB memory and cd/dvd read/write!!! Just can't beat it.

I purchased a Kenwood 571 GPS unit and it does say Ipod ready, BUT you need this cable to see your Ipod folders and to control the Ipod from the deck. Otherwise, you can use the 3.5mm to connect your Ipod for sound, but you then control the Ipod from the Ipod...phew, that's a lotta Ipod! Would have been nice IF Kenwood included it in with the radio.

Great Price on Head-unit with GPS

I bought this when the price dropped to $499. I thought it would be a great value and on the surface, it is. However, the reason I bought it was because I wanted to gain functionalities that my OEM radio did not have. I found that while I gained some, I also lost some of my OEM ones and that was not acceptable to me as the idea was to upgrade. I had problems with it synching to my cell phone (a cheap AT+T 3G), but again, my OEM was able to. I also lost the ability to control my Ipod from the deck. I could only use the 3.5mm plug, again, unacceptable. In the end, I returned it for the Kenwood 571 and am very pleased. The Pioneer is a great unit for the budget conscious and if you are willing to give some items up. The GPS portion is made by Garmin and is very good.

Great For Retaining OEM Steering Wheel Controls

This works very well once it is installed and programmed. However, to get it to work all functions, can be very difficult to get right the first time. I had this installed by Geek Squad and it was not controlling any of the Bluetooth functions nor changing channels well. I contacted the manufacturer and got an e-mail back then took it back to the Installer who was awesome. He worked this non-stop calling his own in-house tech support which put him on hold for an hour, then he called a very knowledgeable friend in the business and the manufacturer. It turns out neither the instructions that come with it nor the first e-mail I received from the manufacturer were correct. It took the better part of a day and change to get this working well. However, when it was finally done, everything worked. Kudos to my Installer. He rocked!

OK XM for car not equipped with OEM

A good way to receive XM radio in a car that does not have OEM XM...which is pretty ridiculous these days, but my 2013 Subaru Outback is one of them and the dealer wants $360 for the part and another $300+ to install...also just as ridiculous. I ditched the original head unit and replaced with a GPS equipped Kenwood 571. All works great, but the XM loses reception more often than I think it should. However, when it works, all sounds great. The XM receiver does have to sit somewhere on your front dash with a direct line of sight skyward.
