There are good and bad about this tv.
Good: picture is really clear, has really good sound (no need for sound bar) good value for the price.
The bad I had is probably just a personal struggle I had with it that I found inconvenient. Having to use the smart app to get to any of the functions for the tv was a pain. I tried ordering a universal vizio remote online and I still needed to use the smart app to get to the menu and change settings. I guess it wouldn't have been so bad if the app didn't suck....

does anyone make a remote control to work all of the features instead of using smartcast app?

No, there are universal remotes but you need to use the smartcast app to get to the settings and other features.
