They are comfortable, plenty loud. If you want clarity like Bose, this is close, if you want bass like Beats, turn on the bass boost and it's just as good. Half or less than half the price. Wireless, skip music from headset, answer your phone. Great headset. I can wear them for a couple hours no problem. Noise cancelling is great. What they advertise is what they deliver.

Not bad for the price

The sound is fine. Everyone can hear me fine. If you just plug and play, durring talking, your friends may hear a humming noise which is a bit irritating. With some adjustment in the PS4 settings you can clear it up. Not too bad for the price.

I bought this to Skype with my daughter overseas. Her connection is not very good but she can hear and see us very crisp and clear according to her. It works great in low light.

Finally! They have returned to PS4

I had logitecs for my PS3. Loved them. Sound was good, and I mean just good. What I loved was the distance. I could get up and walk anywhere even take the dog out quick and my friends could tell me the next game of COD was about to start. Poor Max had to go and get in quick. Sadly after a few years the battery would not hold a charge and I could only use them with the wire. The model was discontinued. Turtle Beach then for the rest of my PS3 years and year one of PS4. Great sound but no distance, no taking the dog out, no getting a beverage from the fridge. If I chanced it I had a 50/50 chance of getting back in time. Then I saw these. I had to try them. Yes! I have distance again and a little better sound than the old ones. Actually the distance is about 8 feet better. Thanks Logitech. A dad who has other responsibilities along with the ones to his clan members appreciates the ability to multitask at distance and not let anyone down.
Positives: Distance, comfort, decent sound, easiest set up, turtle Beach should take it as an example for set up!
Negatives: Price, USB to connect

headset

i have to have a headset wth a mic. but my computer has only one jack. all the headsets i see are dual jacks? are there none with just one jack to plug in?
You can go to a wireless headset with a single USB Jack. Logitech makes many different versions for many different prices. Once you switch to the wireless you will not regret it.

Unplug headphones sound goes to speakers

My current headphones

http://www.bestbuy.com/site/Microsoft+-+LifeChat+LX-3000/8200957.p?id=1166235551781&skuId=8200957

When you un-plug them, the sound doesn't transfer to my speakers unless I restart the program that I want to hear the sound from.

Could you tell me if this happens with all USB headphones or just the one I bought?
It only happens with some headsets. But before you go out buying a different pair, try going to your settings and changing over instead of closing out. Each time you close out and restart it senses the current settings and therefore changes back. Go into start, connected devices and see if you can change it there. Also some programs such as steam games will allow you to change the settings for audio without closing out. Hope this helps. My kids teach me on the fly.
