Great TV for a bedroom

I got this for my kids bedroom and its perfect. The Roku operating system is simple and very snappy. I also realized that the picture settings were missing on the menu page so i didnt think it had any adjustment until i realized to hit the options button while watching a source. That went into the picture settings. Still not very many adjustments but better than nothing. Picture quality is good and is actually 4k with HDR. Best buy doesnt mention HDR on this tv but it is capable, just not all the formats. So the picture quality is only average for one reason, edge lit LED. Go up one range in this brand and you get full array LED. This makes the blacks a lot darker and gives you much more contrast. So in the end, at this price, this is the best tv you can buy.

I have had better mounts before that cost ten times as much but for the price of this, it is nicer than other cheap mounts. It came with end caps to make the ends look nicer when viewed from the side and a little level. Even the hardware was decent. Cant beat this for the price.

I don't like other games that were centered around World War II in the past but this game has changed all that. It is like watching a movie through most of it, on a PS4 Pro. Gameplay is great and I haven't even used the online multiplayer yet. Zombies is awsome on this version too. I wasn't going to even buy this game but I am quite glad I did. Well worth the price.

I waited for a month to write a review in case I had issues with the tv. I can say that I have Plasma, LCD, LED and now this OLED tv's in my house and this one is by far the best picture quality. This tv is the best deal on the market as it is the cheapest LG OLED in the respected sizes. I have had no irregularity in picture and no burn in effects after using it for movies, tv and gaming. For those worried about the brightness, lets just say that watching Netflix in 4K HDR is actually annoying. Both me and my wife think it has too much contrast and is hard on our eyes. I never thought that was possible but with this tv it is. We changed settings to lessen the effect. When you are watching shows at night in a dark room, if the screen has a blank or black moment to the video, be prepared to be in complete darkness. There is no screen glow, which is great. Just don't trip over your kids toys because you can't see anything. And for those looking at the C7P line, don't bother if you use any sort of home theater receiver like I do. The only difference is the audio processing which is pointless if you don't use the tv for sound. I should mention to anyone that doesn't know, if this tv is on for more than 4 hours at a time, it will run a pixel refresher automatically after you turn it off. This makes sure there are no effects from long term stationary images such as channel labels. Overall I looked at going LED 75" or OLED 65". I can say that I am more than happy with the size and the picture quality is just another level above LED. I am here to say that there is no better picture quality out there, for now. My last tv purchase was a Samsung from 2010 (9000) series and it looks better than the brand new Q7 or Q9 QLED Samsungs. Don't waste your money on the new Samsung QLEDs.

Decent mount, should be cheaper

I got this mount for a 65" OLED tv and it worked great. It had all the hardware I needed and was really quick to put on. Unlike other mounts I have purchased, this mount's wall plate is quite small and not very thick. There was easy to understand instructions, which most people shouldn't need. I have gotten other mounts for $15 that had thicker steel and included a level and upper and lower clamps from Best Buy that make this one seem like a ripoff but this was the cheapest mount that was in stock in the store so I got it. This mount has only upper clamps that screw on to the tv. The lower holes are just plastic spacers to hold it out from the wall. Decent mount, works great, cheaply made.

This phone looks great, works great, and lasts a long time on a charge. Two issues: Samsung give us a removable battery again and I love the curved screen but it's almost impossible to type on with one hand without hitting the edge of the screen and selecting incorrect letters or accidentally zooming in. I got a case for it and the problem is better but it still happens. Basically just need to type with both hands holding it but it is annoying. Good phone that is almost perfect, Samsung give us the removable battery.

How do you permanently turn off/disable the pointer feature of the magic remote? Is it possible to do?
No Idea. As far as I can tell, no you can't permanently disable the pointer but here is info from LG:
Press the up, down, left or right button to scroll the menu. If you press buttons while the pointer is in use, the pointer will disappear from the screen and Magic Remote will operate like a general remote control. To display the pointer on the screen again, shake Magic Remote to the left and right.

Does anyone know if this TV is Diect TV ready?
I assume you mean Direct TV ready? If so do you mean Satellite or Directv NOW? I can say I have used both. Every tv with an HDMI input is Directv Satellite ready. Directv Satellite uses a receiver to send signal to your tv via HDMI cable so yes any tv with HDMI will work. As far as Directv NOW online streaming, no for now. I am using a ROKU Streaming Stick to watch Directv NOW over the internet. The smart features of this tv will cover most everything you want except live tv streaming over internet. This could change with an update or app availability in the future.

I am already a verizon customer can I purchase a Galaxy 7 Edge under the two year $199.00 contract price?
If you are not under a current contract then yes. You need to be eligible for an upgrade if you are a current customer then you can pay whatever the current promotional price is for a 2 year contract.

If I buy the phone for its current 2-yr price of $300, do I still have to pay the $28/mo. fee? Or will I just have to pay an additional line fee? I understand I will not be able to upgrade, but that is way cheaper if I can manage to pay $300 up front.
You would pay $300 for the phone with contract and would not have a $28 phone payment during the 2 year contract. You will still need to pay the fee for an additional line or the service fee for phone and data usage.

I've had the phone roughly 5 months. No water damage & dropped once (1st month). The screen went black yesterday and Best Buy said I have to buy a new one because there's no insurance. Why wouldn't the warranty cover this so I don't spend another $600?
The factory warranty should cover this. Contact Samsung directly and if this doesn't help then go to a Verizon corporate store.

Is that fake or secondhand which price 299$
It is $299 with a contract. That means you sign a 2 year contract with Verizon and they pay it down to $299. The phone is much higher in price without a contract. So your contract pays for most of the phone price. It has been this way for many years. So it is new. Or you can pay full price and not have a 2 year contract. Either way you end up paying for it. Hope this makes sense. Contact a store for more details.
