Great trackball for everyday user.

WIndows 8.1 recognized the trackball as soon as it is connected. No special programs are required for basic operations. For all the buttons to operate fully must download the software from Logitech. For example for the scrolling function to work. It is not for precise applications. For that you will require a more advanced trackball.
