Sorry, but this just doesn't compare to my last dishwasher. Every single morning I open the dishwasher to find water drops on some of the dishes. I am not talking water spots, I mean water drops. I realized it was happening because it will not dry plastics so I no longer put any plastics in there. At this point there are still some wet dishes/glasses when the load is finished. For the most part I have to hand dry all of the silverware. Even the racks and inside of the door have water drops on them. It is set to dry (not air dry). Extremely disappointing. I will try getting it serviced and will change my review if it was a fixable event.

Purchased this LG dryer at Best Buy. When it got delivered was told we were set up for a side vent so they could not install the dryer. Although LG, the manufacturer of this dryer, has a punch-out on the side and sells a kit for a side vent, Best Buy claims it voids the warranty and therefore would not sell us the kit and would not install the dryer. Why would LG manufacture a machine with a punch out for a side vent, and sell a side vent kit, if they did not approve of a side vent? Ended up buying it at another store. I think Best Buy should "rethink" their policy of installing side venting dryers. Best Buy ended up losing the sale of the washer and dryer because I wanted them delivered and installed at the same time.

The smudge proof stainless is a great feature.
Would be nice if it came with an option of perhaps a speckled range top instead of total black. This surface shows every streak and speck of dust!
The drawer at the bottom comes in handy for large cookie sheet pans.

Great except for the ice maker

The smudge proof stainless steel is wonderful. That is the main reason I bought this Frigidaire Gallery product.
The refrigerator is a great size. Nice to have a special place to put 2 liter soda bottles without wasting a whole shelf. The large drawer will be good for party platters. The lower freezer is convenient and stores allot of frozen food.
My major complaint is the ice maker. Loud . . . very loud. Every aspect of it. We always end up with chips of ice bouncing out of the glass onto the floor when dispensing ice. After you remove ice, within minutes we can hear the ice machine either moving or making more ice, then we hear the water flowing into the machine. It is so loud it can wake you up. This is not our first ice maker but this is the first one that makes this much noise.
My major complaint is the ice maker. Loud . . . very loud. Every aspect of it. We always end up with chips of ice bouncing out of the glass onto the floor when dispensing ice. One of the nicest features which I didn't have in my previous microwave was to turn off the spinning carousel turntable. It allows me to heat/cook in rectangular dishes.
This microwave has been going beyond doing a thaw on my meat. It starts cooking towards the end of the thaw which is not a good thing especially if you want to thaw and then marinade.
Since I mostly use the microwave to thaw or to reheat, I am disappointed with this thaw feature.
