I like this item very much. The only thing is on the probe setting I wish it could be set to hold the temp at the desired setting for a programmed amount of time. This would be helpful with things like roasts that you want to break down and get tender. Also it seems to cool off a lot faster then my old one. Not a big deal there.

I understand the device has bluetooth connectivity, but does the device output bluetooth signals so I can have the sound bar connected to the TV and then to my Beats wireless headphones?
No. Bluetooth only for an audio input.

Can I use HDMI for everything and bypass the fiber optic cable.
I do not have a T.V. with a fiber optic port or bluetooth capability. Will this sound bar work with just the HDMI hookup?
If your TV is "HDMI Arc" then YES. Output device I.e. DVD, Sat, cable plugs into sound bar then another cable plugs into TV.
