I would return it if it wasn't such a hassle. Whoever gave it positive reviews had very low expectations.
Reasons for the Poor Review;
1) It's supposed to be able to print in black ink - but the black is more of a muddy gray. This results in mediocre-looking gray scale | B&W documents.
2) The wireless feature never worked. I spent 6 hours trying to make it work, following instructions, etc. And I'm a techie. I had to connect it using an Ethernet wire and now it's in a terrible location because of the wire length.
3) It does not print PHOTOS properly - too dark and not even close to being WYSIWYG. A cheap ink jet printer does a better job. This defeats the purpose of having a color laser printer. What a waste.
4) It sucks up toner like a hungry hiker stranded on a desert island
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
