The speakers sounded great in the store, so decided to pick these up. My installer, however, thought there was an issue with the order. Instead of contacting me or their colleagues to have this resolved, they decided not to install the speakers.
If you decide to have anything installed, have them contact you directly if they run into any issues. Don't let them decide what work to NOT perform.

After I looked at the wiring from my old unit, I didn't notice much difference. Only wire that was new is the cord that connects to my mobile device.
The location of the cord that connects to my mobile device was installed in a location I didn't want. I wanted this cord to be located in the center console under the dashboard and entertainment center. Installer thought it would be more work for him to do this, so he routed the cord to the glovebox. I DIDN'T ASK FOR THIS AND DO NOT APPRECIATE HAVING TO REACH OVER TO THE GLOVEBOX EVERY TIME I CONNECT MY DEVICE.
I clicked 'yes' to would I recommend this to a friend, however...check with your installer first to see if they can put cord that connects to your device where you want it.

Nice unit for what it is. Wasn't expecting the audible alarms within the unit and does get annoying. It also 'clicks' when you use the turn signals and no one knows if or how this can be turned off.
Also when using the nav with carplay, it looses the directions completely when in route. Have had to pull over, download and start my trip several times. Happens when in bluetooth or when the phone is tethered.
My next vehicle will have carplay pre-installed from the dealer.
