Good sound, but audio drops out on occasion....

I purchased this soundbar for my new Sony tv. I have read many great reviews on Vizio soundbars, so I was very excited to get this hooked up. Setup was very easy and the smartcast app is a great way to control and adjust the settings on the soundbar. The sound is great ( for a soundbar) but every once and awhile, I get dropouts on the audio. I have noticed it in all the devices and apps I used regularly, but It occurs the worst in Netflix. I get dropouts of up to 2 or 3 seconds sometimes. I also noticed when I try to stream music directly from the soundbar via google cast, I get static and jittering in the audio. My router is in the same room as the soundbar also. I have tried a factory reset but didn't fix the problem. I hope this can be fixed in a firmware update.
Other than that, I am very pleased with my soundbar. Movies sound great and the sub really adds depth to the sound. I will say music doesn't sound as good, and the music mode in the eq makes everything flat... I just keep it in movie eq.
I will wait for the next firmware update and hopefully it will get fixed!
