Smart Humidifier with large capaciy

The Levoit Superior 6000S is a smart evaporative humidifier that combines advanced technology with user-friendly features. The design is modern and has wheels so it can be moved around easily. The large capacity is great allowing long running time between fillings and the ability to humidify large spaces.
The six-gallon water tank ensures extended operation without frequent refills, making it suitable for large spaces or whole-house use. This generous capacity reduces the need for constant monitoring and provides continuous relief from dry air. The tank is filled by removing the top section and filling the tank through a circular opening through the wicking frame or removing the frame and filling the tank. Levoit gives you a hose with a fitting for a faucet. I did not like the hose the fitting does not allow fast filling with the water squirting out if you run it in too fast. I found using gallon jugs and pouring the water though the round opening the fastest way to fill the tank. The unit used about 2 gallons a night to humidify my bedroom to 50%.
The unit has washable wicking filters you should clean every 1-3 months, they give you a brush to do this without damaging them. The Levoit Superior 6000S simplifies maintenance, saving on replacement costs and minimizing disposable waste.
The intuitive control panel and mobile app allow users to customize humidity levels, set timers, and create schedules. Smart sensors continuously monitor ambient conditions, ensuring optimal humidity for comfort. The Automatic setting works the best for me, set the Humidity level you want and the unit will raise and lower the fan speed as needed to achieve your humidity target. If you want to minimize the fan noise the dedicated sleep mode minimizes noise levels for a peaceful night's rest. You can even turn the display off if you want complete darkness.
You can use the VeSync app to control your humidifier from your smart phone. Standard functions that duplicate the panel buttons are Turn the humidifier on/off, cycle through fan speed levels, turn Auto Mode on/off, set target humidity level. turn Sleep Mode on/off, turn the display on/off, turn the display lock on/off. Additional functions available only through the app are Manage filter life, Check current humidity levels in the humidifier’s environment and the smart functions Auto home and Auto away. Auto Home Mode to automatically adjusts humidity levels based on the current room temperature. Auto Away Mode automatically adjusts humidity levels based on the current room temperature. You can also aet a timer for 1–24 hours. You can also connect the Humidifier to Alexa or Google Home using the app
In my opinion The Levoit Superior 6000S Smart Evaporative Humidifier is an easy to use solution for humidity control. Its six-gallon capacity, washable elements, and customizable settings make it a great choice for combating dry air and ensuring comfort in your living space. Good bye dry nose, dry eyes and itchy skin!

Great Monitor for new to Midrange gamer

The Dell G2524H is a new gaming monitor from dell that brings high quality gaming that will be difficult to beat at this price point. The Monitor mount is Vesa 100 compatible. The included stand is stable and has good height and tilt adjustment range. The monitor can be tilted up or down and rotated left and right compatible and can rotate to a portrait or landscape with the included stand. The monitor has a great modern look with a black bezel and a grey metallic body the stand also follows the same color pattern.
Dell includes all the cables you will need to connect to the display port and a USB A to USB B cable to connect to the monitors built in USB 3.2 gen 1 hub that has 2 ports on the left bottom of the monitor. The USB port closers to the stand supports power charging as well. Dell does not include the HDMI cable probably because the 280HZ refresh rate is only supported on the display port inputs. There are 2 display ports (HDCP 1.4) and one HDMI 2.1 port (HDCP1.4) I was able to run the monitor from my USBC port to one of the display ports and achieved the advertised 280 hz. The monitor does not have speakers.
Resolution is Full HD 1980 x 1080 @280 HZ using a 90 DPI 24.5 inch IPS panel with 1ms response time in extreme mode. The Blacks are really good with great brightness. There monitor does not support HDR. AMD Freesync and Nvidia G-sync are supported. The monitor has great response rate for gaming with little to no ghosting noted during gaming or testing. The monitor even includes four unique overlays to enhance gaming (Night vision for dark scenes, Clear vision for daytime scene detail enhancement Chroma vision that applies a heat map to any game to define game objects from the background and Crosshair to assist aiming). This is a great beginner to midrange gaming and will serve you well. It will also work well as a productivity or media consumption monitor.
In order to get the 280 hz mode you will need to open the monitor menu choose the gaming menu and then overclock settings of 280 hz. You can tweak the image by adjusting the preset mode, the response time the dark stabilizer and turning the vision engine on or off. Although the colors were not great with standard out of box settings, I was able to get excellent colors by using the all the adjustments. The adjustments are made with buttons on the right back of the monitor and a joystick button at the top of the row. I found the controls a little difficult to use at first but you get used to them. One cool thing is you can display the current refresh rate in the upper right corner by turning the frame rate setting on in the gaming menu.

I highly recommend this monitor for the new to mid-range gamer at this price point you get a great monitor with 280 hz refresh rate, bright ips panel with excellent viewing angles. Dell includes a fantastic warranty that will replace the panel even if 1 pixel is defective during the 3 year limited hardware Warranty period, even including Advanced Exchange service with next business shipping. This makes it a winner in my book.

Trezor Model T Secure Crypto wallet with color LCD

The Trezor Model T is a secure and easy way to store your cryptocurrency. The new Model T from Trezor has a color 1.54-inch color LCD display. This is a great improvement from the Model 1 and light years ahead of the Ledger wallets in both usability and readability. The wallet is X-ray safe making it ok for air travel. It has a USB C connector and and microSD card slot.
Setup is s breeze you download the Trezor desktop suite or use the web suite. Plug in the Trezor wallet after removing the holographic security seal that is placed to ensure no tampering has been done to your wallet before your use. Trezor supplies a USBC to USBA cable to connect this to your computer, you can use a USBC to USBC for your smartphone or tablet. According to Trezor they are working on a new Trezor Suite Mobile app for all mobile operating systems. You then choose simple 12 word passphrase setup or Shamir passphrase with 3 (2 needed to restore) or 5 (3 needed to restore) different passphrase groups generated for even more security. You then choose if the wallet is standard (unprotected) or Hidden (protected) with another password and finally assign your Trezor a Pin. Whew locked up tighter than Fort Knox! If you want even more protection the Model T can use a microSD card to further enhance your security. You will have to use trezorctl and a microSDcard formatted in fat32. You will enable the use of the card after that an encrypted code is stored on the SD card and you will not be able to log into it without first inserting the sd card in the Trezor wallet.The full details are documented on the Trezor website.

I also found that you can connect the new Helium wallet (Black one) to the Trezor Model T to support Helium tokens on the Solana chain.
I have to give the New Trezor Model T a big thumbs up. I found it easier to use than my Ledger wallets with better readability and easier data entry. Third party support expands it usability to almost every token. There are a few coins that Ledger supports natively hopefully Trezor will continue to expand their native support. The Trezor model T is my primary cold wallet now.

The Insignia™ NS-PA5C2HMS23 USB-C to Dual 4K HDMI Adapter is great for Windows, Android or IOS devices that have a USBC port but no HDMI out port to extend your display to two additional monitors or projectors. This adapter allows you to extend or mirror your display through a USB-C port supporting DP alt mode to an HDMI-enabled display with up to 4K resolution at 60 Hz.
I used the adaptor to extend my Microsoft surface go display to an Epson projector to project spooky halloween images to my Windows for Trick or Treaters to enjoy. This worked without a hitch, no drivers to install just plug and play! I had a perfect image and sound as well over HDMI.
The adapter is plug-and-play requiring no additional drivers, however you need to have pretty current drivers for it to work so make sure they are up to date. It is adapter is compatible with Windows 11 & 10, MacOS 10.2, iPad OS 12, and Chrome OS 48 0 2564.82 and Android OS 8.0. The device is well built with braided cable and flexible rubber at each end, It has a cable length of 4.53 inches. The adaptor body is small with a metalic grey shell. The dual HDMI ports are solid and spaced to have the minimum area nessesay for the 2 HDMI cables making the adapter very small and compact. The adapter is USB-IF certified, which means it is officially certified for compatibility across a wide range of devices. I noted no overheating during it's hours long use.

The Ninja Combi All-in-One Multicooker, Oven, & Air Fryer is nothing short of a culinary Swiss army knife. This versatile appliance has truly impressed me. It's a game-changer that brings convenience, efficiency, and deliciousness to our table.
The Ninja Combi has a modern design that will complement any kitchen. It is solidly built looks like it will last a long time. I like the front opening door and the glass window so you can monitor the food while it is cooking. The digital control panel is easy to use with simple navigation to the multitude of cooking functions. Whether you're a seasoned home chef or a kitchen novice, this appliance is user-friendly.
This multifunctional appliance truly lives up to its name. It's an oven, a multicooker and an air fryer all in one. At first glance It’s wide range of cooking modes looks a little daunting. The Combi Cookier Mode: Combi Meals, Combi Crisp, Combi Bake, Steam, Proof, Rice/Pasta and AirFry/Stovetop mode: Air Fry, Bake, Broil, Pizza, Toaster, Searing/Saute, Slow cook and even Sous Vide. After using it a few times it all makes sense. I may retire multiple kitchen gadgets and save valuable counter space. The ovens two modes are controlled by a lever in the upper right front of the oven. It uses a combination of “Hypersteam” and “Cyclonic Air” to cook the food. You do have to allow for the steam so even though it will fit under a cabinet an open counter I think it is better to place it on an open counter to avoid steam damage to your cabinets.
The Ninja Combi delivers consistently excellent results. It heats up quickly, maintaining precise temperatures, which makes cooking consistent each time. The air frying function produces perfectly crispy fries, wings or chicken nuggets. Roasting and baking are also top-notch. The Combi meals are great for busy people or families, you can whip up a whole meal by adding the ingredients and Pressing the Start button. Once you get all your ingredients together Put the starch on the bottom with any liquid and the Protein on the top just follow the temperature settings and time recommendations and you will have a perfectly cooked meal. You can make delicious meals like Baked Mac and Cheese with Broccoli, steak and vegetables or salmon and asparagus. The inspiration guide has a handy table to create your own Combi creation. You can download a full copy of the guide from Ninja. My first foray using the oven was to create a toasted turkey and swiss cheese sandwich with Mayo. I just popped it in the oven set it to air fry and choose Toast, selected medium and Volia after a few minutes I had a perfectly toasted sandwich with the cheese melted perfectly. The next day I used the toast setting to warm up some left-over pizza. The next night I got my Chef hat on! I decided to make a pork tenderloin with baby potatoes, carrots, white onions and celery with a port wine and beef stock and rosemary gravy including the drippings from the tenderloin. I used Combi crisp to cook the roast and then thickened the gravy using the sauté/stovetop setting I had to guess a little on the time for the roast but it turned out great, the best I have ever cooked in fact! I think this oven is going to really elevate my cooking.
When you are cooking a meat alone remember to use liquid in the pan so it does not get dry. You can even cook meat, chicken or fish in under 30 minutes without defrosting following the cooking guides. There are a few recipes to try in the guide you can get the Idea from there and invent your own.
The Ninja Combi can easily handle family-sized meals. It's spacious enough to roast a whole chicken or 5 lb. roast, bake a large pizza, or air fry a batch of wings 12 – 16 depending on the size. The dimensions are 14.92(L) 15.43(W) 13.11(L). For large gatherings, you might find it limiting.
Cleaning is a breeze, thanks to the non-stick pan surfaces that are dishwasher-safe. This makes the post-cooking cleanup much less of a hassle. For deep cleaning you use the steam setting, allowing you to get even the dirtiest oven sparkling clean.
While the Ninja Combi is an investment, its versatility justifies the price. When you consider that it can replace multiple kitchen appliances, the cost becomes much more reasonable. It's a high-quality, long-lasting kitchen companion that will pay off over time.

You can download a full copy of the guide from Ninja. My first foray using the oven was to create a toasted turkey and swiss cheese sandwich with Mayo. I just popped it in the oven set it to air fry and choose Toast, selected medium and Volia after a few minutes I had a perfectly toasted sandwich with the cheese melted perfectly. The next day I used the toast setting to warm up some left-over pizza. The next night I got my Chef hat on! I decided to make a pork tenderloin with baby potatoes, carrots, white onions and celery with a port wine and beef stock and rosemary gravy including the drippings from the tenderloin. I used Combi crisp to cook the roast and then thickened the gravy using the sauté/stovetop setting I had to guess a little on the time for the roast but it turned out great, the best I have ever cooked in fact! I think this oven is going to really elevate my cooking.
When you are cooking a meat alone remember to use liquid in the pan so it does not get dry. You can even cook meat, chicken or fish in under 30 minutes without defrosting following the cooking guides. There are a few recipes to try in the guide you can get the Idea from there and invent your own.
The Ninja Combi can easily handle family-sized meals. It's spacious enough to roast a whole chicken or 5 lb. roast, bake a large pizza, or air fry a batch of wings 12 – 16 depending on the size. The dimensions are 14.92(L) 15.43(W) 13.11(L). For large gatherings, you might find it limiting.
Cleaning is a breeze, thanks to the non-stick pan surfaces that are dishwasher-safe. This makes the post-cooking cleanup much less of a hassle. For deep cleaning you use the steam setting, allowing you to get even the dirtiest oven sparkling clean.
While the Ninja Combi is an investment, its versatility justifies the price. When you consider that it can replace multiple kitchen appliances, the cost becomes much more reasonable. It's a high-quality, long-lasting kitchen companion that will pay off over time.

The new Orbi 970 series WIFI Mesh router and satellite sets allow the fastest WIFI speeds available. These units are hefty weighing 3.6lb each They come in white or black and are very stylish. I have the white with brushed metal trim in the 3 pack configuration. The Main router serves as the base it has a 10ghz wan port, 10 Gbps backhaul port and four 2.5 Gbps ports. You can aggregate the 10 gbps wan and the 10 gbps ethernet to allow the router to provide maximum thruput from your ISP. This allows you to use your super high-speed WiFi or even wired connections. WiFi 7 is blazingly fast 2.4x faster than WiFi 6. If you want the fastest speeds, you can run hardwire backhaul between the main router and the satellites. The new antenna design gives better coverage with Negear. The WiFi uses 6ghz, 5ghz and 2.4ghz bands to achieve the best coverage and speeds wherever you are in your home or business. The Wifi is backwards compatible with older devices.
The setup is easy with the new Android App (also available for IOS), I did have a glitch adding the satellites after the firmware updated it would not reconnect to the base but restarting the app the install proceeded as normal using the password, I set up initially to reconnect. After the setup was complete including the year of free Netgear Armor by Bitdefender monitoring the Orbi network has worked flawlessly. Your Armor subscription includes installs of Bitdefender on your devices if you choose to use It to protect you even when you use other networks. Netgear claims you can connect 200 devices to these routers. You can set up 3 networks, your main WiFi, guest WiFi and IOT network. The default settings will work fine for most environments but there are extensive advanced options if you need specific settings. The options available are extensive and very well documented in the user manuals.

The Technics EAH-A800 are great new headphones that combine style, comfort, and outstanding sound quality all in a 10.5oz package. As an audio enthusiast, I had high expectations for these headphones, and they were simply exceptional.
The first thing that caught my attention when I unboxed the EAH-A800 was their beautiful clean modern look. The brushed metal accents and smoothly rotating well padded ear cups are some of the premium features that stand out. The build quality is exceptional, with sturdy yet lightweight construction. The band and ear cup swivels look and feel extremely durable and capable of withstanding daily use. The conservative Technics branding is welcome. Technics includes a beautiful hard case that holds the headphones and accessories A USB A to USB C charging cable, a mini 3.5mm RCA input cable and an airline dual mini 3.5mm RCA adapter.
The PEEK/Polyurethane ear cushions are soft with just the right amount of firmness to provide an excellent seal without exerting too much pressure on the head or ears. The headband is adjustable and well-padded providing a secure and comfortable fit for different head sizes. I found that I could wear these headphones for hours without any discomfort.
The EAH-A800 delivers on sound, the Technics reputation for Audio shines through here. The 3-Layer Diaphragm 40mm driver dynamic drivers faithfully reproduce audio, allowing you to pick up subtle nuances in your music or movies. I recently acquired the JBL Authentics 500 Smart Speaker and I am excited to give you my opinion, in a word it is outstanding!
This speaker looks and sounds fantastic. The new smart speaker from JBL sports 270 watts of 3.1 channel sound in a cool retro design the front grill and JBL logo reminds me of the old JBL’s my father had with his old stereo system. The gold aluminum frame and the faux leather covering the main body complete the retro look. The controls are slightly recessed on the top keeping the design very clean. The voice assistant status indicator is on the top and functions just like the native assistant device indicators. The rear has the porting for the down firing bass speaker and the connectors for ethernet, USB for MP3 playback, power and a 3.5mm Aux jack for external audio input. The Voice assistant microphone on/off switch is also included on top of the rear panel. The base has rubber feet to keep the box in place and prevent vibration.
Where the JBL Authentics 500 truly shines is in its audio performance. The system has three 25mm tweeters and three 2.75inch midrange speakers and a 6.25-inch woofer, The JBL team has done and incredible job with this compact speaker and the sound is amazing for it’s size. The bass is punchy, midrange is crisp, and the highs are clear and detailed. I could hear no distortion at any sound level. The down firing ported subwoofer can really push out the bass. They have included an auto calibration that takes place every time you turn on the speaker and it will adjust to any room you move it to provide the best sound. The speaker even has Dolby Atomos support. You can include this speaker in your speaker groups or group multiple JBL speakers for multiroom listening.
The speaker connects by Bluetooth for streaming from other devices and had WIFI connectivity for streaming and automatic firmware updates. iPhone users can use airplay to stream directly to the speaker.
The JBL Authentics 500 smart speaker supports voice commands via popular virtual assistants like Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant. Since it supports both I can control my cameras with google home, my lights with Alexa, stream from various apps from whichever service I desire. You use the JBL one app to set up the speaker and connect it to your Alexa or Google home account. I did have a little confusion about podcasts on Spotify, you have to install the skill but it will not work until you set Spotify as the default podcast provider in the Alexa app then you just say “Alexa play podcast (your podcast name) “ and it will stream from Spotify. JBL has done a fantastic job getting the smart assistants to play nice together on one box.
The JBL one app is simple and straight forward. I had no difficulty connecting to the speaker, connecting my WIFI or connecting to my smart assistant accounts. I am able to stream music from all of the services I use with my native devices, control my lights, thermostats, and TV.
JBL has delivered the ultimate smart speaker in one cool retro box. The sound from this is out of this world, this is the best sounding smart speaker I have ever owned! In my opinion it is well worth the price. I highly recommend this if you are looking for a premium smart speaker.

Yes up to 32 mb, You have to be careful with module selection to achieve the top speed. There are two slots. Apparently according to other online reviews come with 2 4gb modules but others like mine came with 1 8gb module. You have to get the correct voltage and density modules to achieve 3200mhz otherwise the laptop will downclock them.

Yes, HP ink is available at many retailers. I personally use the Instant Ink program. If you print on a regular basis it is a great deal. My ink costs have gone way down and I never run out!

Can the ADF be used for multiple pages that need to be SCANNED ?

Can a designated counter mounted faucet be used with this filter?
Yes you just need to install a dual outlet valve, they are available at many home supplies. I would suggest a valve that attaches to the existing one. If you replace the existing valve it is more involved you will need to turn off the home water supply, unscrew or desolder the old valve and put a new one on.

Can a designated counter mounted faucet be used with this filter?
Yes, you just have to install a split feed adapter to your water supply one will go to the faucet and one to the filter. The out of the filter goes to you separate faucet. You will have to purchase the splitter separately, there are several types just make sure the one you choose does not restrict flow in any way.
