As far as a cost savings there is some in that when you purchase the Roku you can use it right out of the box, for most channels/web stations. But ease of use was much more difficult than the U-Verse cable guide my mother already knows how to use. And of coarse you would still be paying for an internet connection.

As much as I enjoy using the Gal. Note Pro. I am also just as frustrated that Samsung and/or Google will not stop forcing Apps. on us that we can not remove. I, and others, would also like MUCH more specifics on everything every App. and it's updates do and if they are necessary. I should have TOTAL control over what information I am willing to share. Make Apps. available or known that do NOT data mine.
