For iPhone 6 Only?

The packaging for this product said "For iPhone 6" but since the 6S had just come out, I wasn't concerned. However, I found that this may be one of the few cases that will not accommodate the extra 0.01" thickness of an iPhone 6S - I couldn't get the case to fully "snap" into place around the end of the phone. Too bad, because it is a nice looking case with enough tactile feel that you don't think you are at risk of dropping it. I exchanged it for an Otterbox Symmetry series.

The Kate Spade iPhone cases offer a wide variety of styles, from the more subtle to the really eye-catching. The one I purchased is more toward the subtle end of the scale, and confines the brand identification to the playing card symbol for a spade rather than "Kate Spade" written out, a plus in my mind. The bottom of the case is very open, giving good access to the connections, microphone, and speaker. The only drawback is that the "off" switch is covered, and is a little too difficult to activate through the case.

Simple Installation - Does the Job

While there are no doubt less expensive products out there to do this job, I saw no reason to take a chance on lesser quality when this was to be attached to a $3000+ refrigerator. If you are lucky, you have a 1/4 inch compression fitting on your refrigerator and this water line connects directly. If you have just a 1/4 inch copper tube on your refrigerator, a 1/4 inch copper union is included to save you a trip to the hardware store. In either case, follow the instructions and don't over tighten the connections.

An Excellent Refrigerator with One Caveat

This refrigerator is essentially the counter-depth equivalent to a full-size LG refrigerator we had at our previous house, and which we liked very much, so when our current 14 year old unit developed problems, we focused on LG products again. We like this unit for the excellent interior lighting, quiet operation (quieter than the previous LG), ice maker placement, flexibility in shelf arrangement, easy-open freezer door, and general good looks. We don't use much ice, so I can't comment on the issues other reviewers have had with ice production.
We have had the unit for only a month, and we haven't had any operational issues so far. We'll keep our fingers crossed, since some other reviewers haven't been as fortunate.
I would rate the unit five stars except for one thing. This unit replaced a built-in refrigerator, so there was cabinetry on both sides of the refrigerator space. We didn't want to go to the expense of another built-in, so we bought the counter depth unit, thinking that it would amount to just about the same thing. But when the unit was in place and the front feet extended to lift it off the front rollers, the bottom edge of the unit protruded 1-1/2 inches from the face of the cabinet while the top edge was flush with the face of the cabinet. I was able to rectify this situation by placing a strip of 1/2 inch plywood on the floor at the rear of the unit and using some carpenters' shims to make little ramps for the rear rollers to ascend when the unit was pushed toward the wall, raising the rear of the unit enough to compensate for its natural backward lean. But I shouldn't have had to do this with a $3000+ refrigerator. It would be very simple for LG to include adjustable rear legs to facilitate making the unit exactly vertical to match the edge of the cabinetry, just like is done with built-in refrigerators. It looks fine now, but it can require a little work to get there.

This the fourth iPad in our family of two, beginning with a preorder for the original version in 2010. This is our first mini, and it is for my wife, who uses the iPad mostly for email, web browsing, and ebook reading. For those purposes, the more compact and lightweight mini is a good choice since she mostly uses it in a casual setting rather than at a desk. We got the 32MB Mini 2 rather than the 64MB Mini 3 since she doesn't need the extra storage and the price was enticing.

Easy Setup, Good Performance

This CenturyLink Modem/Router proved to be easy and straightforward to set up with the well-illustrated instruction sheet. (I was somewhat apprehensive about this because of an excruciating experience getting a DSL modem/router set up back in 2007.) Even though our house is a challenge for wifi due to a rambling layout and plaster walls with metal mesh in them, we get good signal strength throughout the interior and usable signal strength outside as well. With my previous router, I had to use a signal booster to do as well.
