Yeah it cost as much as a 65-inch with lesser technology, but was it worth it? In my view it was! The depth and clarity of color amazed the most important person, my wife.
The first thing we watched was a Nature piece on some jungle area with a lot of birds and wildlife. She volunteered that the picture was definitely worth paying the premium for the size. She is not the technology junkie that I am nor is she a visual person. She was impressed. That is good enough for me!
Hopefully it works for you.
With regard to the sound, it is very good, but not necessarily great. I might consider a soundbar as an add-on at a later date if your installation supports it.

Good quiet power supply replacement

We needed a replacement power supply for my Wife's nine-year old system. State of the art at the time and loaded with Vista, then 7,8,8.1 and now 10 the machine is still functioning and serving her needs well. When the machine died I diagnosed the problem and put her back in operation. It is quieter than the old power supply and should get her another four to five years.

Good Features - OK Quality

Adequate to do the job as a headset for listening to various video excerpts on the tablet while not missing the football game or taking phone calls.. Sound quality was fair with a bit of a tinny quality emphasizing the higher part of the audio spectrum with not much bass response. The earbuds fit well and a couple of replacement earpieces accompany the headset. I do have concerns about the long term durability due to the earbud retractor and seemingly lightweight cords to which the buds are attached, but I no longer have to deal with cords everywhere or audio in only one ear. Recommended with these conditions.

Good Tivo Experience, but ethernet is a must

Overall the unit works well for basic HD TV transmission from the base unit. Trying to watch some shows on a powerline network connection is definitely a problem. I had the adapters, so I tried it. Note: TIVO does not recommend this nor do they recommend or support wireless adapters for the unit. Pay attention to the specs.
That said it had few problems with basic TV tuning from the main unit over the same connection. Not sure why one would work and the other would not.
It did eliminate a cable card fee and I'm tired of getting dinged by Comcast for every little thing.

Works as expected with sufficient configuration options. I do recommend doing an advanced configuration to make sure that it is correctly set up. At least for my purposes I had to tweak a setting or two, but it is easy once you figure out how the menu works. Not quite as obvious (at least to me) as it could be.

Much Improver Previous Tivo HD Unit

I like the picture in picture capability along with the ability to use Comcast's "On Demand" features, a capability previously missing from my older unit. More than two tuners had become a "must have" for my wife and I to capture our favorite shows which seemed to be competing for the same time slots due to the network competition. Sometimes our taste in differ somewhat; "Project Runway" does not fit my SciFi and documentary tastes. This solved that problem, plus the older Tivo HD unit could go to the mancave to replace the acceptable but clunky Comcast unit which until just recently was Comcast's state of the art unit. Now I can transfer shows across the network giving me six effective tuners between the two units. It costs a bit more than one Tivo and one Comcast given the monthly fees, but the benefits are worth it to me.

I have no clue why these darn things are so expensive from Best Buy. That said, it does the job and I do use them on my GalaxyS4 as well as the Galaxy Tab 3 7.0. I sometimes wonder why though with the phones since they get changed out every couple of years. The old phone basically becomes junk with a great screen since it was protected for the duration. Not sure the cost benefit is there.
There are less expensive sources on the web.

The folio case is custom fitted for the device, so it is about as good as it gets for fit. It is not a generic holder. The feel is good and given Samsung's tendencies towards making devices that are slick and hard to hold on to for me at least it is a good addition.
I did not particularly like the fold into place method of proving support for the device in a landscape reading mode, but it is effective and quite usable in that mode. In portrait mode I wish they had a better system for holding it without getting your fingers on the screen or one of the menu/back buttons.
Idle thoughts on improvement. I wonder about an elastic band top to bottom that you could slip your hand into to hold it in one hand while working with it in the other. If they did that it would make it easier to handle in portrait mode. They would have to take care to ensure that the material is soft and not detrimental to the screen of the device as it would likely be rubbing the screen when stored.

Manage at-home entertainment with this voice-activated TiVo BOLT VOX DVR. Its SkipMode feature lets you quickly pass over commercials, and it supports multiple streaming platforms for binge-watching your favorite shows and movies. This TiVo BOLT VOX DVR has 1TB of storage space that holds hundreds of hours of programming.
Is there a monthly fee? If there is, can you find a tivo without a montly fee?
There is a monthly fee or an annual fee depending on how you want to buy the service. The unit is a means of connecting with the service and handling all the DVR duties. I cannot comment on how it compares to X1 by comcast or other services, but if you buy a four or six tuner bolt and and a couple of Tivo Mini's and you know how to network them, you can reduce costs rather substantially I would think. The Mini's depend on the Bolt as the tuner and handle all DVR duties and real-time local channel access via your home network. I actually have two Tivo's and two minis.
If I were optimizing it I would have one six-tuner Tivo and three mini's. I just had a purchase timing problem with prior breakdowns of a Tivo that lost its video circuit after it was well out of warranty. Interestingly, you could still watch TV and use it as a DVR from either of the mini's, just not the location of the Tivo itself and do this from any location where I had a Tivo unit that was current with regard to the operating system. (I added a link to that unit in the other product recommendations.) If you have a category 5 or better network, it will work fine. If not you can go to a MOCA internet connection which is what I use. (You would also need one MOCA adapter for each mini and one for the router in that case I think. The mini's ARE NOT wireless enabled. Powerline networking was not adequate. And you will probably need a $7 MOCA filter on the head of your cable access point. System works good once you have the parts in place.)
I opted after reviewing the costs, what I had already invested and the fact that I was in Annual programs on each Tivo to just buy a new 4-tuner Bolt and go from there.
The new menu interface looks better than the older Tivo interface, but I'm not sure it is an improvement with regards to efficiency of setup. I still have the old interface on the Wife's machine. Each has its advantages and disadvantages and she is not one that likes change in dealing with her technology items. We stayed with the older interface on her unit, though it will talk to the other Tivo and the two minis.

Will this take the place of dvr service from "Dish"?
Dish charges about five dollars per DVR service per month; will this allow me to discontinue that part of the service?
Sorry. Do not know anything about Dish. That's a satellite system I believe and unless Tivo specifically supports it, I do not know of anyway it could operate. The MINI specifically requires one of the more current Tivo models

What no wifi you are kidding, othe TiVo Romano does why not TiVo mini??
That's right. No WiFi. MOCA is easy though and you can get the adapters pretty reasonable through Tivo.
If I was starting fresh, I would buy one Bolt with the six tuners and a couple of Mini's to outfit the whole house. I have four screens and the Bolt on an Ethernet or MOCA connection would likely handle it.

Tivo only from what I can determine. It would have to have identical firmware and the only way to get that is with a Tivo.

Can you use this with older TV's?
Some of my older TV's do not have HDMI connecting capability. Can you use the mini on older devices that still only have RCA connections?
Have not tried it myself, but Tivo offers a separate output cable for the lower formats. https://www.tivo.com/shop/detail/av-cable

Will the position of the data and power plugs on the hard drive match the connectors of the cables on the DELL E520?

Compatability with HP Pavilion P6000
Is this compatible with a HP Pavilion P6000 series? I wanted to use this as a slave. I keep getting messages that my hard drive space is low and I have low disc space.
According to HP there are 128 models in the series. That said, it looks like the vintage will be a problem with this drive & mother board. That would be my reaction. It is getting a bit old and is a BIOS supported machine. There appear to be some limits.

I need to replace the hard drive on an HP M9340F KQ497AA ABA desktop computer.
Is the current product a valid replacement for ST3750630AS. Will I be required to make changes to the motherboard or firmware or anything else?

You may have some issues. That is an old ASUS Benica motherboard and not an UEFI. It is the older BIOS system. (I know cause I have one.) Your Operating system was not stated, but given the vintage looks like Vista. I think you can use it, but not as the boot disk replacement as I read it. Alternatively, get two 1TB and set one for data and one for programs. Get an image and burn it to the new disk and boot from there. Move all your data to the new drive to make space on the boot drive. A couple of hours and you are better than new.
Mine is similar vintage (32-bit) and has gone through each iteration of Windows since Vista fairly successfully though Microsoft has thrown me a curve with a bad update a couple of weeks ago. Way too time consuming to discuss here.
I currently have mine with the same MB and Win 8.1 running with a SandDisk ReadyCache SSD and the machine is still very satisfactory for most of the work I do. And I use it pretty hard. That would be less expensive than buying a new one, but does require a couple of hours of your time. Or, bite the bullet. The machine is probably 7 years old.
