I use this mount a lot! Mostly when I'm biking, hiking, or any other adventure requiring both hands. You get a lower pov but having your hands in the shot makes it looks awesome! It's a better quality then the aftermarket brands. I like to shoot at a lot of different angles and pov so this is why the chest mount is great. The best part about this mount is being hands free, make the purchase and you will not regret it.

Good in the right situations

The quality,material, build is great but the reason for the 4 star is the actual use of the head strap. In the right situations having the GoPro strapped to your head can be hands free and an awesome pov but if you're in a situation with running or quick movement it will make your video really shakey. Unless the video being shot is slowed down or edit it will not look as smooth as the one watched on YouTube hahahba. Really it's the problem with the GoPro not having a built in video stabilizer. It's a great product overall.

Best purchase I've made at bestbuy, I got this silver edition because of the screen on the back of the GoPro and the microphone option. I'm usually shooting in 1080p and do all my edits on my phone so the black version and 4K frame rate didn't really matter to me. I don't always use the screen on my GoPro but there are situations when I am using it with a stabilizer and don't want to have a second screen/phone to hold. Also for quick preview is awesome without having to connect to a phone or computer just to review your shots/video right after its been filmed. Don't forget to wait for deals as well, bestbuy usually have price drops with free accessories which is a major score. All in all you can't go wrong, just don't go lower than the silver model. If you really have to, get a session.

Don't waste money on after markets suction cups

This is an awesome suction cup, I've purchased off brand/aftermarket suction cups before and the vibrations are really noticeable in my videos
Since I price matched it with Amazon the price was dropped, no vibrations noticed in my video. Pay the extra and get the real deal! I even mounted it on the side of my car(outside of the car) drove over 70mph on the freeway(with a leash of course) and it stayed on with no problem. Just make sure the area is clean and mounted as described in the instruction book. With the different mount options that came with the suction cup making it really low profile is easy and less than 30 seconds. Must have if you own a gopro, top 5 gopro must have.
