Great inexpensive alternative

I went looking for a flash to use with my Nikon D7100 camera I received as a gift, but didn't want to spend an arm and a leg for it. The sales rep in the store pointed me to this flash. The light level is perfect for lower light areas as well as for evening out the light levels in weird light situations. It is serving my purpose very well.

I bought this transmitter to use with a Bluetooth headset that I already owned. I use it so I can still watch and hear tv while I am on the treadmill. It is perfect for this purpose and would also work great if one person needs to have a louder volume than other people in the room. The Paperwhite makes reading so easy on the eyes. I like to read in bed at night and with the Paperwhite I don't have to have a light on. I can still read in the bright sun without squinting. It's small enough that it fits in my bag for air travel and again, I don't need the light on to read when traveling at night. If you enjoy reading, this little reader makes it so much more enjoyable!

Can books from a 2nd generation Kindle be transferred to a Kindle paperwhite?
Yes, they can. Log into your Amazon account and choose to Manage your Content and Devices. The directions for doing this are on the Amazon website. I just did this same thing about a month ago when my husband bought me the Paperwhite.

Is the font size changeable?
I have macular degeneration and I find it helpful to read with a larger font than most people are comfortable using
Yes, the font can be changed with the simple touch of the font button. You can set it to very small or quite large (close to 1/2" in height). The adjustable light balance would also probably be very helpful to you.
