The bulb and switch worked out of the box with each other. I had an extremely difficult time connecting them to my existing Hue setup. The reset button on the switch has such a tiny hole a paper clip won't even fit. I was able to finally get my existing hue system to recognize the switch and the bulb and was then able to program the switch to control multiple other lights as I desired.

Our family is overall very satisfied with the features and functionality of this microwave. It's quiet and looks nice once installed. The door does swing out a lot since it is the full width, but it was easy to get used to. The convection feature works well but causes a bit more noise from the fan running to help dissipate the heat. All the cooking functions work to our expectations.
The instructions are essentially worthless. It's not hard to figure out how to use it but a bit more instruction would be nice, even if it was only posted on the product website. Installation was more difficult than I expected. I ended up only using the templates for the measurements printed on them and marked the holes manually. It's very heavy too and the mounting bracket and case on the microwave are much more flimsy than they should be. Also, the nuts that the bolts go into are easy to dislodge, which causes them to fall inside the case. Fishing them out requires removing quite a few screws and the case is difficult to get back on properly.

The battery life has been great and the trimmer has a good feel to it in your hand. It does a great job trimming. Swapping the trimming heads is a bit annoying and seems like it could be made better but I don't do it often anyway. Also, the on/off switch doesn't seem to be a mechanical switch but doesn't act like a touch activated switch either, sometimes turns on/off by accident and sometimes I'm pressing it and nothing changes. However, overall I'm pretty happy with it.

I recently purchased this unit and the lack of instructions is still a problem. The website does not contain any additional information either. However, the display on the door gives you instructions so you can figure out everything you need without too much difficulty.

is the vent located in the front top of unit?
In the self venting configuration, the air vents out of the top just behind the door frame.
