Elevator holds your portable computer safely and securely at just the right height to match external monitors - and to save your aching neck. Elevator conforms to health and safety standards, making your laptop safer and more comfortable to use all day long. Healthycomputing.com, the premier source for office ergonomics, recommends positioning the top of your screen level with your eyes and sitting at least an arm's length distance from the screen. Both of these key ergonomic standards are made possible using Elevator with an external keyboard.
I use this next to my Apple 27in thunderbolt monitor. The stand is a good height. I put my 17in MacBook Pro in the stand. The top of my laptop monitor is almost aligned with the top of my Thunderbolt. If your mouse hand is right, I recommend placing the stand on the left hand side of your large monitor. That way the bottom of the stand won't get in the way of your mouse or mousepad. Setup and placing/removing the laptop are simple.
The computer does NOT have a lock slot. The space between the screen and keyboard is quite small. Is there a locking system available that won't risk cracking the screen?
You need to get a universal adhesive cable lock that you can attach to the back of the screen.
