First off, why would anyone review a pack of batteries? Well lets just say I have a lot of time on my hands. Now if you like batteries and you're wondering should I get rechargeable or splurge on the good stuff? Well I've had both. The rechargeables don't last forever and eventually stop taking charge about 2 years out. Do the math and if it works for you then save the Earth, we only get one!

So this soundbar is good for the money, this is another case of you get what you pay for. If you use it as a secondary unit then its ok, but I installed it in our main TV viewing area and honestly all it does is get LOUD. No real sense of "stereo" affect, or any virtual surround sound, but it is a 2.1 system so what can one expect. Overall review its a "meh.."

Sonos Connect work with other whole house systems?
We have a whole house sound system connected to a Yamaha receiver. Can we use Sonos Connect to allow us to control this system and stream music from our phones wirelessly?
The Sonos Connect will allow you to hook up your whole house system to the Sonos eco system. You basically need to connect the out put rca audio from the Connect to an input on your Yamaha Receiver. Then select that input and hit play. This should let you use your phones to send signal to the Sonos Connect, and from the Connect, it would output to the whole house system. If this is at all confusing, I suggest reaching out to Sonos directly and they will guide you through the process. Sonos has fantastic customer service!

Yes, see the SONOS website for more details, but you can definitely add the Play 5's to the SONOS PlayBar and Play 3's. You set it up inside the SONOS app, and again its all spelled out on the SONOS website.
