I replaced our smaller, 2009 Samsung which was also an LED. This picture quality is much better. However, Samsung seems to be using the body/case from the smart TVs, so it's not as thin. Not a big deal but since I have an Xbox One, we don't need the depth of a smart TV. Not a huge deal, but didn't expect it. Great TV for gaming and sports.
