Have been a Samsung customer for a long time and have always found Samsung to be on the cutting edge in terms of quality and smart TV app offerings. It seems however Samsung is deviating from their quality in terms of customer information disclosure and service. Here are my discoveries after buying the model:
1. Not all Smart Apps are available across all models. Based on the TV, the apps may or may not be compatible. Normally I would be okay with this when comparing older models to newer models. However, they still offer those apps in older models and does not offer the app on some new models. Examples: BBC News, Plex. It seems different pricing gets you different "Smart TV". I double checked on Samsung's website and there's nothing that mentions this.
2. The TV's flash player is extremely rudimentary. Samsung claims it's "basic flash player". However, up until now I have not been able to play any streaming content using the web browser. The "Full Web-Browser" is misleading.
