Missing Loaded Apps

Don't let the name Smart TV confuse you in thinking that there are applications preloaded onto the TV. In order to utilize applications on this TV you have to download the Vizio television application to your smartphone or tablet and then send the signal, source, content from your handheld device to the TV. I had to purchase and HDMI Smart Stick and plug that into the TV in order to have applications on the TV set opposed to on my handheld device sending to the TV set. The main reason I am keeping this TV was due to the extreme discount I received on the television, and this TV does operate great as a normal monitor...otherwise I would return the TV for a true Smart TV with loaded applications. The remote is very basic and I am not over exaggerating by saying that. They are trying to force you into using their application on your smartphone to act as a remote control. I just utilized my expensive universal remote control I already had to operate the television.

It started with a music player that could play anything from Prime Music to Spotify and Pandora, and it gives you hands-free convenience, yet it can now control lights, switches and thermostat and answer questions thanks to advanced voice recognition. Use the Amazon Echo to order an Uber or even pizza from Domino's.

Can you use the Amazon Echo (Alexa) with the Fire Stick to use as your voice control to locate certain tv content?
No it does not...yet. You can use the Amazon app on your smart phone to that though.
