Small cable fits easily in a bag

While I have not used this adapter yet, it easily fits inside my toolbag, a Michaels plastic bead container with handles....yes, that beats a toolbox for storing cables and screwdrivers!
I probably won't ever need it, since I use a MacBook Air rather than a MacBook, but if I ever need to diagnose a MacBook screen, I will be prepared. Plus, it could be handy for adding an extra screen to a MacBook.

The cruzer is one of a number of flash drives you can choose at Best Buy. It sticks out like an extra thumb, and it only comes in 32 gb. I would give it 5 stars if I could get it in a larger size. No, it is probably not the fastest, but I have lost a number of flash drives at people's houses. No more! I can see it 6 feet away, and that counts more than speed.
It inserts and removes easily. Consider that before you purchase one of those flash drives designed to lie flush with the laptop. And it has a large hole to which I can easily attach a clip or carbide. I carry it clipped to my pants or laptop bag when I travel, and I always have my tools handy.

I bought this while on sale. I buy a lot of flash drives, and in my experience, PNY flash drives have failed less often. Normally I would buy a much larger drive, but I needed to create a couple of multi boot drives with Parted Magic and my backup utility. These work fine, but they are difficult to insert in the usb slots, and the shape is not ideal for labeling the outside.
What I look for in a flash drive, if I don't have something specific in mind:
1. Can I label the outside with its purpose?
2. Is it usb 3.0 (which is a problem for older computers but is faster)
3. Can I put it on a keychain?
4. Size
5. If I could test it out, I would check how easy it is to insert in a laptop.

How many photos will it hold
That depends on the size of the photos. If you are storing photoshop PSD or RAW files from your camera, not many. If, however, you are storing files from your smartphone, they tend to be tiny, and you can store a bunch. However, if you want to store pictures, I would recommend a much larger flash drive (64 GB or 128 GB.) 16 GB is no longer considered an average size and will probably fill up too quickly for you.
