This item looked promising from the online description. I plugged it into my iPad and it downloaded the software. However, when I tried to use it, it would just hang on the opening screen. I called PNY customer service, but they were unable to help me get it to work. BTW, I am a very experienced techie-type user. Because I was unable to get it to work properly, I returned the item and bought a competing product (which does work).
