Even though smaller capacity tub, has an agitator which I have found to clean the clothes much better, than the other HE machine that I had. So far have not had any trouble with this machine at all.

worst washer ever

From day one I had problems with this machine. First of all the machine would not take in any cold water at all, hoses were mixed up. Best Buy did come out and corrected this problem, Used more water than necessary to clean the clothes. Lid on washer could separate from tub during high spin, that problem was repaired by Samsung. Failed to complete a cycle one time. All in all very dissatisfied with this washer. I will not purchase another Samsung washer ever again.

Does this model have an automatic water sensor?? If so, do you have a Maytag (or any model) that does not?
Yes this machine does have an automatic water sensor and I do find that the tub fills with enough water to thoroughly clean your laundry. I know of one machine that does not have an automatic water sensor and the is a 3.6 cu ft Hotpoint top loader. The reviews that I have read on the Hotpoint washer is that the machine will not put in any hot water into the tub even when you set the water selector temperature to hot and a lot of reviewers also said they had to use super to put enough water in the tub to wash their laundry.
