There is no backlight, no CMD to make it work like an mini mac... this is just ridiculous expensive for such a big TOY. You can get a cheaper and WAY MUCH efficient keyboard by other merchant for less than $50-
Stay away from this stupid expensive toy from Apple so called "smart keyboard" (dumb keyboard will be more appropriate).

great buy but not the greatest

Excellent OS! I had to return the 1st buy b/c it was getting frozen every 2 hours of not light use (read... and only read articles). So i have got another one, but let me tell you: Surface Pro 4 is WAY MUCH MORE useful than this "gadget" I can my work on both and even way much more on the Surface. If Apple to not make their next model more efficient and worth the $$ we customers spend for their nowadays "toys". I will personally drop their iPad and just use Windows.
Is it a great device, but honestly for the price: only get it if you need it, because it is very limited compared to Surface Pro 4.
