After the sudden sizzle and fry of my very expensive smart phone, I decided I wouldn't spend another $500-700 on a phone that only lasts 1-2 years. I opted for this phone marketed in a box on a hook for prepaid use. AT&T customer service reassured me that I could remove my SIM card and place it in the new LG without any problems. He was right! Best Buy employees cut my SIM card to the smaller size and placed it in the LG. It worked perfectly. If your are use to high quality cameras on your phone and an extremely fast processor, you'll have to concede and accept the very noticible difference; however, in moving to financial freedom from expensive tech products, this phone is a very good buy.

Initially, i thought, "what a great buy". most of the time i still feel that way; however, over that past 2 weeks, its starting to show signs of trouble. i turn the tv on and the screen lights up, but the tv seems to freeze. i'll describe it like a laptop that you have to click control-alt-delete on (the intitial screen shows the logo). It either stays on this screen, flashes on and off, fails to respond to the manufacturer's remote control, or takes several minutes to connect to satellite or antenna. I am a little worried this will continue and I may have to return it. this has happened about 4 times. that may not sound like much, but the tv is in the bedroom and is only used for short periods of time before work. If it takes 5 minutes of frustration and fiddling, thats 5 minutes I don't have to waste. I just want my local news.
