So at night I have my master bedroom used to control the temperature based on a schedule. But when my son and I will be in the basement for a while I manually choose the basement. The plastic pin in the back plugs into the ground hole in the bottom outlet for stability. I would recommend using this unit on an outlet that does not have the test/reset as those outlets types are for use around water to prevent electrical surges. I don't recommend using this product in areas where water would be present (i.e. bathroom, kitchen, etc).

It does come with a little cook book of recipes and you can find more online so that you can see the best way to cook them in the air fryer. A lot of it is trial and error though.
