Thought this would be plug and play but it wasn't! I had to try several apps to find one that worked with this device and my HP Envy. All good now but frustrating!

Will this work with an HP Envy that has been updated with Windows 10, and will I be able to play CD's/DVD's without additional software?
Yes but you'll have to experiment with several apps and tinker with settings. I'm not a computer whiz, but I was able to figure it out on my own after a few hours. Works great for me now!
