I've only had this washer for a short time. I have not been able to test out all the functions yet, so far I have been impressed with the machine. On extra fast spin cycle the unit is very stable and quiet. The Samsung model I had before this was very loud and would shake the house. Both dryers were leveled with the same level on the same floor. I'm making this evaluation from several loads of laundry. I really like the load and go for the soap. I just wish they did the same for the fabric softener. Also just want to say I love the light inside the washer!

what is the differnce between the diamond steel and chrome shadow
On the chrome shadow machine the whole thing is painted with a gray metallic paint. On the diamond steel machine the top is painted with a silver metallic paint that matches the control panel portion of the machine. The lower face of the machine below the control panel is stainless steel. I was asking the same question in getting bad results when I was looking to buy this machine. The chrome shadow machine looks nice. I just wanted the stainless steel look.
