I purchased the nest smart thermostat because I wanted a way to set schedules and monitor energy usage, and after doing some research it was a no-brainer decision. I have had it for a month now, and had modest savings on my energy bill. We'll have to see how it does in the long run, but in my area this thing will theoretically pay for itself in around 3 years, and it looks great too. I definitely recommend this product.

My old gts 450 was about at the end of it's run. I do a lot of modeling and rendering at high resolution, as well as a little gaming here and there. My pc is running a Phenom ii x4 black, and I knew that it'd be a serious bottleneck, but I am still impressed with the overall performance. Best action cam on the market by far. I got this just before taking off for a cruise, and have been very pleased. I was able to get some great footage and had fun doing it. The only issue is the sound quality is a little muffled when the case is on, but I was surprised how great it actually sounds given that the case is completely waterproof.

Yes, SSDs use a sata connector which can be found on all modern desktop motherboards. Typically you'll want to find a drive mount though since most cases don't have only 3.5" drive bays.
