These are great speakers for the money. We installed these to tie into a Bose Soundtouch system. They're a little light on base, but tied into the larger system - which does have a powered subwoofer attached - they make excellent extensions of the whole house system.

These speakers were awesome in the store and sounded great at the house, but the housing that was already installed for this was too big and too shallow The speaker diameter was too small and the depth too tall). So, these are probably best installed in a newly carved hole in the wall or ceiling.
