Easy to use backup drive

This is actually my fourth WD external hard drive I've purchased. These could not be more easier to use and have been perfect for saving lots of computer files and backing up my hard drives. I still have the other external hard drives that are used for specific computers and they all still work. I've carried these in briefcases and bags to work, dropped them on the floor, and they just keep working. I wish everything were that reliable!

Opt for the Blue-Ray DVD

The Force Awakens movie was an excellent rebound from the much maligned prequils. A very fresh take on the Star Wars movie franchise and sure to win fans both old an new. As my summary mentions you should get the blue-ray DVD if you can as I noticed it had extra special footage. Since I won't buy another DVD player I had to get the non-blue ray DVD with no extra special footage :( and the only swag I got was a cheesy promo insert :( :( It made me kind of sad that for what I paid for this DVD I should get a step up from the Wally World bargain DVD grab and fight with your trailer park neighbor bucket deal. While I give the movie itself a solid A I will give whomever sells these DVD's a solid D- in marketing these. I can only figure that since I didn't get the blue-ray one that the one I bought was done so with the aforementioned Wally World bucket cage match in mind. Not that it would have held up to it though as the plastic case my DVD came in had broken tabs when I opened it up. Fortunately I had a spare case laying around to fix that problem. Would have at least felt better if they had given me a 50% off coupon for a sleeveless T-shirt with free beer stains! Would I recommend the non-blue ray one to a friend? Only the ones I don't like of course!

Bought on a whim for which I do not regret

So unless you are already a fan of MST3k than you may not know that the show is a couple of ad hoc robots made out of garage sale garbage who hang out with a marooned corporate pleb who pass the time critiquing the absolute worst movies they can find. While there are a few others on this DVD obviously the focus is on "Manos" which is a real movie that was shot in El Paso Texas of all places. In most fans opinion, and mine as well, it's really the best episode of the series. If you are a fan of watching movies that are sometimes so poorly done that they actually have their own hidden kitsch value than you will probably dig this stuff. If you have no sense of humor than you should probably look for something else. Will I watch this more than once? Oh yeah!

Great modern superhero movie

I found this movie to be a good breath of fresh air compared to a lot of the more recent superhero genre movies out there that are plagued by: over the top special effects, over the top violence and gore (FYI: there IS a separate genre for that sort of thing right?), poor scripting, poor plots, poor acting, alpha male bravado (unless of course that is being done comically), and way too serious or overly preachy dialogue where you download your brain into some blue aliens to fight those greedy industrial capitalists that will mow over plague carrying rodents to mine unobtainium. So now to THIS MOVIE: Without divulging too much about it I'd say it's everything a superhero movie should be: It has good character interaction and development which helps you to care about what's going on with them, it's good good action scenes, excellent comedy relief, excellent acting, and an engaging plot.
Oh, and most importantly, it don't have no sappy blue creatures, political mantras that the director is trying to preach to you, 55 gallon buckets of rasberry syrup with people in a blender scenes, and characters that you would care less about what happened to them in the movie as they were less memorable than the free chotsky trinkets that corporations hand out at trade shows. So yeah, it's a great modern superhero movie that I enjoy watching over and over again.

Fine external DVD for late model MACS

As the title of my review would imply, this drive is just fine for late model MAC computers. I won't know how this will perform until I own a newer MAC though as I had purchased this for my 8-year old iMAC which I found out after my purchase is incompatible with this external drive. Needless to say neither the folks at the store or myself had no idea until I brought this home and found out the hard way. My suggestion would be to research this first before you buy this to see if your computer is compatible. I decided to hold onto the Superdrive I purchased for when I upgrade to a newer MAC in the near future. One would have imagined that with a name like "Superdrive" you could leap tall buildings in a single bound or at least be compatible with any MAC computer even if it's a little older. Nah, guess not. They should have called this the Millennial Drive instead...

Excellent Large Hi-Res Monitor

I bought this not for gaming (for which I think this monitor was designed for) but to use at my work office for performing construction estimating takeoffs. I need a good hi-res monitor for viewing plans on my PC and my last employer was such a fool they went and bought me a TV monitor at wally world which would give me fuzzy plan details and caused me to have to zoom in to the point I had carpal tunnel. I forced them to buy me an HP Envy which was also a high-res 32" monitor which, if you can afford it, is the best in my opinion with the Beats audio system. That monitor was the best but was I think nearly double the cost of this one. Since I was shelling out the dough for it this time I chose the Omen as it was every bit the same quality monitor as the Envy without the audio system for which I was not going to pay $300-400 more with my own cashola. Sorry Dr. Dre, not this time but I was more than happy to stick it to my last employer for yas which was almost as good as when Khan marooned Kirk in the center of a dead planet. In short, if you are looking for a great big hi-res monitor for your computer you should consider this one for top quality and value. If you want the top dawg then look at the 32" HP Envy with Beats audio.

Needs to be a double CD item

To be honest I bought this one on a whim after watching an episode of the A-Team with a cameo by Rick James. As a kid that grew up in the '80's it was impossible to have never heard of either! In the world of funk this guy was a king in his own right and influenced a lot of musicians. My only regret here is that you get just 12 songs and not more of the artist's work. Fortunately, the song choices were the ones that you absolutely need to hear which best represent this artist. Even if you aren't a fan of Funk you may want to give this one a try as it should be ready to play at every party where fun is an element.

Standard OEM Canon Black ink works well. As with most inkjet printer ink cartridges my main complaint is that you don't get very much ink volume for the money. For this reason I tried an aftermarket ink refill and that had horrible results. Since I don't print very much I'm sticking with this OEM ink and Canon makes decent inkjet printers.

Hey, can I connect my xbox one to this moniter and play normally as if it is a tv?
The Omen accepts HDMI inputs. Not sure what Xbox you have but if yours has HDMI outputs there shouldn't be any reason why you won't be able to connect that I can see.
I use this at work and not for gaming but it is my understanding that this monitor was designed with gaming in mind and it has excellent resolution and speed which are important when selecting a gaming monitor. Probably overkill for construction estimating and AutoCad but I take my work seriously and want to pretend that I'm a sith lord.
